We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Copenhaver-Heath and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyler, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by seemingly average people who live for greater causes than themselves. Recently I watched the documentary Virguna. The caretaker in the film is one of my heroes. There is a line in the movie where he says “you have to be about something in live, and I am about the gorilla”. The unsung heroes of this world inspire me.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We started as a small one bay auto shop. We have grown quite a bit over the past several years but none of them easy. This year we dealt with a fire, robberies and of course covid. I think grit is the number one thing you can have to accomplish any dream.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My friends know better, they will get a tour of our business and that’s about it.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I recently completed my MBA at ASU WP Carey school. The teachers and the deans of the university were amazing. When I started the program we had just opened our second location. It seemed like every class I took happened exactly as I needed it. Education is underrated in the entrepreneur world and I think that is unfortunate.
