We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Dowers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risks are exciting. Whether the risk results in a win or loss, it brings experience that helps propel me forward. The risk must be calculated, of course, but nonetheless, taken.

Taking risks is the reason for my advancement. Whether it’s been a change in my career, a major last-minute travel move or a monetary risk, it has always brought the value of experience.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am first and foremost a curious traveler. My motives to travel are always directed from the Divine and with great intention. I’m proud to say that the things I imagined and dreamt of as a kid have come to fruition, and the vision continues to develop.

To get to where I am today, I just had to believe in my vision. Other people may have projected their fears or limitations on me, and many times I have respectfully understood why. But sticking to the vision, focusing on being better than the day before, surely leads to where you want to go.

I want the world to know that worldwiseV is sharing cultural wisdom to help shift the perspectives, motives and lives of people to live truly and with great purpose.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Great question!

I’d start us off with a morning hike at the Phoenix Mountains Preserves to see some cactus friends and have a great look over the city.

Then for a quick coffee stop, we’d head over to Lux Coffee and perhaps pick up a slice of flourless chocolate cake (yum!!!)

The Desert Botanical Garden is a must, as a girl who has always loved flowers!

Then we’d head to Novel Ice cream for some deliciously crafted ice cream.
OR pick up a pistachio/oreo cannoli from the Sicilian Butcher (hard pick!)

And for dinner, we’d head to North Italia for some delicious Italian food.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I take every experience, no matter how big or small, into account for my success. From connections I’ve made around the world, to the support I receive right at home, every conversation, revelation, and experience has brought me to where I am.

I am a major reflector, so I take every moment into consideration to shift my perspective, motives and actions.
