Meet Victoria Munoz | Physician, Competitive Athlete, and Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Munoz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve been surrounded by encouraging people all my life. My parents have always told me that I can achieve anything that I put my mind to. I don’t know if this is because they saw my potential, or if their encouraging words drove my potential. Either way, I have never doubted that I could accomplish the things that I set out to do, even from a very young age. At the age of 2 I announced that I would be a doctor when I grew up. Over the course of my life I have always had a knack for making money. Now I am not only a physician, but the owner of 4 businesses. I have people in my corner who are business savy, but much of what I’ve learned about building businesses is self taught. I essentially come up with an idea, and start the process of making it happen. Each of my businesses is unique. I am a professional seller on Amazon and I have an athletic clothing line. I own 2 brands and 2 trademarks. I own my own medical practice, and this year just started my marketing company. Each of these business have been a part of a bigger plan, and the market company runs all the campaigns for my other business. So each business essentailly pays my maketing company to do thier advertising. I also wrote a book and published it this year, The PAIN Solution, which is all about my specialty in medicine, Regenerative Medicine. My goal as a doctor is to help educate and inform people on health and quality of life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I call myself and entreprenuer first and formost, because I am a business developer. My first business was my medical in 2017, Regenerative Sports Medicine & Anti-Aging. I was proficient right out of medical school to begin practicing in my specialty. I had done my internship while in medical school. I chose a unique specialty that offers hope for people who are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. In an attempt to keep this concise, Regenerative Medicine works to heal and bring the body back into homeostasis. Through regenerative therapies such as stem cell and stem cell derived products, hormone modulation, nutrition and gut healing I am able to offer my patients the quality of life that they deserve no matter what their age. In addition, I emphasize the importants of subconscious programming through mind-body medicine for the best health outcome. I wrote my book, The PAIN Solution and published it July 2021 to help educate people on what Regenerative Medicine is and why we need it. My goal as a doctor is on educating people and showing them that they have options. My second business was my athletic clothing line. I essentially just started with some clothing samples and my logo attached. I applied for my first trademark and started getting input through surveys as to what people are looking for in athletic wear. Being a competitive athlete myself, I am passionate about workout gear and thought, “Why am I advertising someone elses brand on my clothing when I should be building my own brand.” Now SIC Aesthetics has reached popularity on a local level to date.

My Amazon business has been a huge learning curve for me. There is a very complex process to becoming a professional seller on Amazon. I have manufacturers over seas that manufacture my products. We ship upward around 1000-2000 items of each product at a time, so we’re a big operation. This has required late nights negotiating details with my manufacturers as their business hours are our sleep hours here in the US. My brand Docere Creations sells bamboo floor mats and Docere Sport sells an orthopedic knee brace that I designed. I had my own issues with knee pain mostly due to heavy squats over the years without knee protection and now workout pain-free.

My martketing business was the final leg in building the foundation to my empire. This company, Level 9 Marketing Experts, is paid by my other companies to do their advertising. This company also does affiliate marketing. We run both organic and paid ads through our YouTube channels as well as on social media platforms. This was probably one of the most exciting business to build. You can have a good idea, but if you don’t know how to get it out there you will never succeed. Marketing can make the difference between running a taco stand or creating a franchise across the US.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have been a world traveler. I use to spend 1-3 months a year in Spain alone, not to mention my 2 trips a year to the Hawaiian Islands. I’ve also spent time in the UK, France, and Portugal. If I meet up with friends, it’s typically to a foreign or exotic destination. I typically hang with people with common interests so anything ocean related would be my first choice, having grown up on the beach. In terms of night life, I have frequented live stand up comedy venues as well as cool theater pubs. I also enjoy attending sporting events with a group of friends. Soccer, ice hockey, and basketball are probably my favorites. Whenever I travel, I typically attend the local art museums as well as the ballet and symphony. Art and music were a big part of my life growing up. Now living in Arizona, there is so much to explore right here in my backyard.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I credit my parents and grandparents, who were well ahead of their time, for giving me the drive and belief in myself to be successful in life.
