Starting a business is a commitment and requires dedication, resources and sacrifice. Except, I really didn’t put much thought into it when I first started my business. I just sort of- did it. No hesitation. It was my day off, and i started scrolling through some logos that I had liked, chose a name, and started making my social media pages! I had this idea in my head for about a year, but decided to finally bring this idea to life! I was working a full time retail job while going to school part time, and decided the extra income would be extremely helpful. I created some items and posted these items to a variety of social media platforms and within a week of starting my business, I thankfully (and quickly) began building a clientele. My business has only grown from then. Read more>>

My husband and I instantly fell in love with Wickenburg when we visited for a month in 2013 and within a week purchased a winter home here. In 2018 we decided to move here full-time and I could see the need for year-round shopping options here. The Historic Downtown had always closed during the hot summer months, but what about those of us who live here full-time? The visitors who come to Wickenburg to “get out of the heat” since our climate is a little cooler than the valley? The downtown streets literally looked like a ghost town to me. So with no retail background but plenty of shopping experience, I decided to open Serape Bleu in 2019, just 4 months before COVID hit. But the support that this small but mighty town gave our local businesses was amazing and just reassured me that opening the boutique was worth the risk. Read more>>

I have always been very independantly driven but after working in the pet industry for close to 30 years and having to now rely once again on my skill/trade to pay the bills alone , I had to go back into the field and my managers were younger than my experience in the industry. At that moment I had to ask myself WHY???? am I still working for other people when my experience should be valued and now I can control how my customers are treated and the way to run a business would now be on my terms. Thats when the light bulb went on in my head. I was sitting on a decent 401 k that I had received from my divorce and it was doing nothing for me at that point. I decided I needed to look into what it would take to open my own shop/storefront. Read more>>

The Midwives and Wellness Collective is founded on the core belief that collaboration makes a stronger community. As a midwife, a mother and a human on my own healing journey I have come to know that the work of weaving families into villages only happens when we have folks at the table who experience life from different perspectives, offer a variety of skill sets, and can take over so that caregivers can rest. The Wellness Collective is a group of practitioners supporting childbirth, naturopathic medicine, herbalism, mental health, end of life, parenting skills and pelvic floor heath. We offer a cozy space for the needs of this community to be spoken, discussed and met with the support of many hands. Read more>>

Our thought process when creating Digital Circus was to create a platform for not only us as musicians, but as well as to give other artists an opportunity to share their art with the community. In every Digital Circus event, we strive to make sure our artists feel excited and thrilled to perform at our events as we maintain a professional environment and approach our shows with an Artist/Showmen mindset. Overall our philosophy with DC is to produce a production built on PLUR, our one and only rule when it comes to hosting our events. PLUR stands for peace, love, unity, and respect something we spread throughout our supporters and those we work with! Read more>>
