I came up with the idea for my business after my husband gifted me a Cricut die cutting machine and fell in love with creating with it. and realized it would open up a world of possibilities for me. I have always had a huge love for crafting, art, and creating things with my own hands. I’ve always had a passion for helping others, and I knew I wanted to do something with my life that would have a positive impact on others. However I wasn’t clear on what that would be exactly. I begin my weight loss journey November of 2017. At my heaviest weight 367.3 pounds. I was finally tired of being tired. I was ready to make a change. I started kickboxing as a way to relieve stress and to simply stay active. I fell in love, and committed to the workouts 3-5 days a week, which then encouraged me to focus on my nutrition. My spouse and I started as weekenders in the rural Hudson Valley, living during the workweek in New York City. We quickly discovered how m Buch we loved living in the more rural countryside—the farms, the food, the space, the scenery, the people—but also found the transition challenging. Choosing the right town, making friends, setting up a larger home than we were used to, exposure to the elements were all topics I had to get a grip on, and, frankly, there was little support.
