Meet Jessica and Robert Ishoy | Small Business Owners

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica and Robert Ishoy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica and Robert, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
To be more independent financially based on our own efforts and community relations.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Jessica has years of experience in the retail grocery business and is very customer oriented. Robert has years of experience working as a security professional in both business and government.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Cochise County there are many attractions to include the historic towns of Tombstone and Bisbee. A great place for evening fun in Sierra Vista is Docs Watering Hole in Sierra Vista. Docs is a country bar that features special events almost daily. Cafe Roka in Old Bisbee would be the place for fine dining.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our retail gourmet chocolate store was inspired by Robert’s late father; Fred Ishoy. Fred was a retired Army veteran who also purchased and operated a small gourmet chocolate shop in his retirement years. As a disabled veteran himself Robert has followed his father’s dream of owning a family gourmet specialty store. We also would like to give a big shoutout to the Warrior Healing Center of Sierra Vista for supporting veteran owned small businesses.
