Meet Laura Del Falco | Pet Fashion Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Del Falco and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Laura, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I have always been driven by making sure I can express myself to be my most authentic self. I grew up practicing synchronised swimming for 20years. This is how I built the foundations of my creativity and nurtured it. As an adult I knew that I wanted to do a career that would allow me that type of freedom.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I Love ALL dogs. The small, medium & big ones, ALL breeds ! Even the cats ! And I believe They should have access to fashion equally.
I provide one of the best quality fabric alongside very unique designs on the market.
PAWSHY IS the PAWfect balance between FANCY & CASUAL style for them to wear everyday.
That is why my mission is to LOVE your pets as much as you do.
To STYLE them with MODERN, TRENDY, ECO-FRIENDLY accessories. And to make You & Them, HAPPY.
I would say creating a business from scratch is not an easy task so it’s been definitely sweet to see how the people have loved us and supported us since the beginning. Most importantly, believe in yourself and do take the risk of trying/creating your own path if it’s your desire. If do not try you will never know. It can be scary but it is so rewarding !
I learned that challenges come with lessons and support, you’re not alone and if you ask for help and advice, you create an opportunity for people to show up for you and for growth all together.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I currently live in San Antonio Texas ! It is a pretty “family friendly” city with quite a bit to see !
On Monday we would go to one of my favourite coffeeshop Curator Coffee, and get a lavender latte! From there we would probably head on to the Texas Ranger Museum downtown ! Tuesday, Brunch at The Bow Street Social then later that evening we would participate to a free outdoor yoga class at the Pearl then maybe eat ice cream at LICK right there ! Wednesday, we would visit the Mission San Jose then head on over to the Alamo and its museum and finish the day walking & dining by the Riverwalk ! Thursday calls for shopping and The Historic Market Place is perfect for all kinds of cultural souvenirs. Friday calls for the Natural Bridge Caverns with its beautiful caves and we would finish the day by a going to Paloma Blanca a Mexican restaurant where they make from scratch a delicious guacamole right in front of your eyes ! Saturday & Sunday would be filled with strolling the Pearl Farmers Market by the day and dinner at the Tower of America at their restaurant ChartHouse, their floor rotates so that you can see the entire city ! Sunset is the best time to go and we would close the week by a Rooftop bar. They have many around the city and it’s a nice way to just reflect and the amazing time spent together !
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely my family, the community of vendors around me that have encouraged and support me. And most of all, all my customers and ambassadors who loves Chewy and I and what we provide for them !
