We had the good fortune of connecting with Dala Al-Fuwaires and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dala, what are you inspired by?
People’s stories. Our success comes from telling our client’s stories and reimagining them as a physical space. What drives them, moves them, gets them excited. My personal inspiration comes from travels, nature, and a drive to create something I’ve never seen before.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
House of Form is a boutique hospitality design firm that specializes in creating memorable spaces and meaningful experiences for your guests and customers. Based in Phoenix and named a Top 5 Interior Design Firm in 2020 by Ranking Arizona, House of Form is comprised of hospitality and retail experts with global experience in designing dynamic and unique environments, from locally-owned restaurants and intimate spaces to hotel chains and national rollouts.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d stay at the Arizona Biltmore, we’d stop in for a coffee at Valentine, go to brunch at Fame, go on a hike around Piestewa, bop around the shops on Roosevelt – Now or Never, Churchill, Dialog, grab some pre-dinner drinks at The Rose Garden, then head to Buck and Rider for dinner. Maybe a night cap at MercBar.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband, AJ, who encouraged me to start House of Form 7 years ago. And held me up when the load was just too heavy sometimes. But also Kelly Ruta, my business coach. She has changed my life in ways I never knew I needed. She allowed me to dig deep into myself as a person, a leader, and a business owner.
