Hi Cypress, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
Letting go of a relationship I deeply cherished in pursuit of my dreams as a recording artist and entrepreneur.

As fate would have it, my ex-girlfriend and I found ourselves at a crossroads. She yearned for a conventional career path, prioritizing stability and a secure future. However, my heart beat to the rhythm of creativity and passion, pulling me towards a life dedicated to music and entrepreneurship. The vision of a life sculpted around my dreams sparked an undeniable fire within me.

The decision was excruciatingly difficult; I had to grapple with my emotions and the potential of an unsustainable future. My ex-girlfriend’s fears of uncertainty were genuine, and I understood her concerns. Nonetheless, I knew deep down that if I were to forsake my dreams for the sake of conformity, I’d lose a part of myself forever.

With immense courage, I made the ultimate choice to honor my aspirations and embark on a path less traveled. The journey of self-discovery and personal growth that followed was both empowering and transformative.

I learned that following my passion was not just about chasing success but about staying true to my core identity. Though it meant parting ways with someone I deeply cared for, the experience strengthened my resolve and ignited a renewed sense of purpose.

Now, as I pursue my dreams as a recording artist and entrepreneur, I find solace in knowing that I made the right choice for myself. This decision has allowed me to channel my energy into creativity and create a life that aligns with my values and aspirations.

I hope my story will inspire others who find themselves torn between their hearts’ desires and external expectations. Embracing one’s dreams is a courageous act, and though it may come with challenges, it can lead to a life of fulfillment and authenticity.

When it comes to my artistry, what sets me apart from others is my unwavering consistency and my relentless pursuit of increasing the quality of my songs, whether they belong to the realms of rap, R&B, or pop. I believe that consistency is key to honing my craft and delivering music that resonates deeply with my audience.

But my artistry goes beyond just the music itself. I am truly a fun, outgoing individual who has had the privilege of experiencing once-in-a-lifetime opportunities without the need for fame or wealth. By simply being myself and exuding confidence, I have been able to attract crowds of people and receive love and support. This genuine connection with my audience is something that truly sets me apart.

My journey has not been without its challenges. I have faced trial and error, overcome countless insecurities, and weathered a chaotic love life that shifted my perspective on relationships. Through it all, I have developed a carefree bachelor attitude that was not easily attained. However, I refused to give up, no matter how hard life kicked me down.

My path has taken me through moments of profound loss, such as losing my best friend to suicide, as well as transformative experiences like joining the Air Force and relocating to Alaska with no friends. I faced military trouble and even found myself in jail. However, from these trials emerged one of the staple figures in the Anchorage, Alaska music scene.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way have shaped me as an artist and as a person. Staying true to oneself, resisting the pull of greed, releasing hate from the heart, and holding steadfast belief in oneself with the highest expectations are just a few of the principles that guide me. I am determined to secure and protect my dreams, no matter what obstacles arise.

Let it be known that my name is Cypress, and I have set my sights on becoming one of the biggest household names in rap, R&B, and pop worldwide. I am prepared to fail countless times on this journey, learning from each setback until I ultimately achieve my goal.

I am excited about the future, the opportunities that lie ahead, and the growth that awaits me as an artist. I invite the world to join me on this exhilarating ride, as I strive to make an indelible mark in the music industry and become a name that resonates with millions.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To start off, we would kick things off with a bang by heading to Elements at the Sanctuary in Scottsdale. It’s a upscale restaurant that offers bomb food but also breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Next we may slide to Maple and Ash. This restaurant is known for its luxurious ambiance and the food is so good.

After that, it’s time to explore the vibrant nightlife scene in Phoenix. We would visit some unique and cool bars like Century Grand, 36 Below, and the Bar Killer Whale Sex Club. Each of these establishments offers a distinct vibe and an exciting atmosphere that will make for an unforgettable night out.

To keep the night rolling, we would then escape the city and head to Sedona, where we would rent a dope cabin surrounded by the red rock mountains. The views and tranquility of Sedona are truly a vibe.

To wrap up the week, we would return to Old Town Scottsdale and hit up the clubs of course and lock in a section. After that, we’d take it back to a Airbnb with some ladies where we can continue the party throughout the weekend.

D.C. has always had my best interests at heart, even when it meant challenging me to see the lessons I may have overlooked. His honesty, even in the face of discomfort, has proven to be invaluable. In times when I may have been blinded by my own aspirations, he fearlessly shed light on the areas where I needed growth and improvement.

But D.C.’s support extends far beyond words of encouragement. He has demonstrated his belief in my talent and dreams by going above and beyond. His commitment to my music career is unparalleled, as he has even put his own money on the line to support my endeavors.
