Hi Samantha Rose, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The most difficult decision I had to make was actually starting my own business. I worked in corporate America for such a long time and was very comfortable there. So, to take the risk and leave to start not only my own business but a business in mysticism was a huge risk. I am thankful every day that I took the risk, but at the time, it was the scariest, most difficult decision of my life.

What should our readers know about your business?
When it comes to stepping into the world of professional mysticism, it can immediately be met with criticism from those who do not understand.

One of the first challenges I had to overcome when stepping out on my own and being able to proudly call myself a professional Tarot Reader or Spiritual Coach was letting go of others’ opinions. People are so quick to call anyone in the spiritual business a scammer or fraud, so in order to be successful, I had to just let those people and their opinions go.

That wasn’t an easy task starting out because you really want to find clients and almost “prove” yourself to others, but after I reminded myself that I started this business as a way to pursue my soul’s purpose, what other people thought of me just faded away.

I truly believe that that is what makes my business different. I am not doing something just because I am passionate about it, I mean, I absolutely am passionate about it, but I am also doing it because it is what my soul was meant to do. I was born to help others and teach them how to live a fulfilling life through spiritual exploration. And because of this purpose, I can’t let anyone’s negative thoughts or opinions stand in my way.

That was just one of the lessons I had to learn when I embarked on my journey of owning a spiritual business. Not everyone is going to like you or what you do, but you can’t let me stop you. If I had, I wouldn’t have my amazing clients, my wonderful supportive community, or the feeling of living my life in alignment with my soul’s purpose.

I think that is what I would want the world to know about my brand or story. That even in the face of adversity, I stood my ground and chose to open a business grounded in my purpose. There was no other intention. Not money or fame, but purpose. I left a comfortable nine-to-five corporate job because I finally listened to my inner voice that kept telling me I was meant to teach people what it looked like to follow your soul’s purpose, the joy and fulfillment that could come from taking that leap of faith.

And I am so glad I did.
