We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I come from a family of great Italian cooks, especially my mom & grandmother, who have spent a lifetime in food service, and it shows in all of the little details that helps us make your experience special and unique. I started working in the food industry at 15 years old. Learning as much as I could and then I started teaching myself and did until COVID, when I decided to open my own business. I had the knowledge about cheese and meat & continue to gain more. This has given me not only a professional insight into making peoples food dreams come true, but a personal taste which lets me guide customers to the best possible pairings.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Catering with Elegant Spreads by Jess is not only delicious and made with the highest quality ingredients, but we provide the elegance that comes with food styling. No grazing table is the same because we create as we work. We are known for the best quality Charcuterie in Westchester but not only that for our styling skills. That took a lot of work. It’s not as easy as everyone thinks it is. A lot of our clients don’t want to eat the food because they say it’s too pretty but then they always eat it!
We are proud to be one of the Best Charcuterie companies in Westchester, NY. We worked extremely hard to stand out from others and we have done a very good job so far. We are a high-end luxury catering company that specializes in Charcuterie, Grazing Tables & Luxury Food Styling. We provide artisanal meats, cheeses, and other delicious options that separate us from the plain old boring cheeses & charcuterie boards. We use only the very best imported ingredients, and the results speak for themselves. Our repeat clients are our best references, and are constantly coming back for more!
It wasn’t easy to get to where we are today and there’s no stopping. There was a lot of lessons and learning but we are still learning and I feel you always will be in business.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to cook so I would probably put together my own Charcuterie board for them and make them extremely happy and following that make a delicious but unforgettable dinner.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to thank all the people that have supported me over the past couple years and clients that have turned into friends. From being in articles to nomination of Best of Westchester more than once, there’s so much to be grateful for but I couldn’t do it without my true supporters. I had a few people in my corner throughout my journey that I thank but I want to shout myself out! I deserve credit for not giving up on myself and really pushing myself!
