We had the good fortune of connecting with Jimmy Rios and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jimmy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I always felt compelled to help people and in the early 2000’s I started helping my clients with bundled financial services before this even became a term. I had a all my licenses to be able to offer my clients the ability to have a one stop shop. Because most of my clients were 1st or 2nd generation latino’s in Arizona there was huge trust factor involved and this was before social media and google – so getting an old school referral for great service was my marketing and modus operandi.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Next Level Credit Plus was an endeavor that morphed overtime. We built a blueprint for success for business owners and individuals and noticed that through every one of our financial service channels the credit was a big piece of the puzzle that was hurting a lot of people and the credit repair industry had a black eye for being ineffective and making people feel like they are in a financial loop. So we deconstructed the system and rebuilt it and turned the concept around to make it efficient and effective for the end client and the financial professionals helping these clients that also depend on positive results. We pride ourselves in our motto “We are your Partner in Progress” because it truly defines what we do and our success is directly proportional to the success of the clients results. This has made our “Old School” method work even better coupled with the advantages of technology in marketing and social media. The biggest lesson I learned in this process was in having to be the walking talking billboard and fix my own broken credit not with repair but with our term which is to En”Rich” my credit through a series of defensive moves in taking the negatives off the credit but also adding the positives which is the enrichment process. This turns a negative process to a positive and it’s felt within the first 3 weeks of the process starting.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Football season is here so I would take them to GLENDALE to check out the Cardinals stadium and eat at some of the restaurants there at Westgate like The Shout house in honor of this article. I would also take them to Tempe Town Lake and do some indoor skydiving in Scottsdale at iFly before going to the casino at Salt River. Definitely I would take them to Elmers in Chandler for some great Mexican food. The next day I would arrange a trip to one of our beautiful Lakes like Saguaro and we would have Tepanyaki at Osaka on the way back.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I couldn’t have done anything without my faith and love in God. All my struggles and dark times were needed to test my faith and know that I would come out ok. Since god works through people- I was blessed to have been surrounded by strong individuals like my wife Sylvia who overcame her own struggles to support my endeavors and believe in my vision and my sponsor in AA – Mark Rodriguez who left a strong footprint of strength and perseverance in my recovery to help others to help myself. By helping others i formed a strong foundation that would help me build my life and business to withstand the storms that come in business and life. My mother “Lucy” who is unwavering in her love and support could never be forgotten in accolades for being that voice when I needed it the most.
