We had the good fortune of connecting with Marques Ogden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marques, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the the success of our brand is our team such as Dawn Wiener, George Saad, Donovan Barnes, Danny Passafiume, Jazlyn Leonso, Albert Harden, and our other amazing team members. Having such an amazing diverse and innovative team has allowed our brand to grow to new heights, they we never thought were possible.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart as a brand from the competition is we excel at authenticity and vulnerability. As a result of that, people connect with us on a deeper level which allows us to excel on our work. No it was not easy starting this business. We faced lots of challenges, hardships, and adversity in our journey but everything we had to endure to get to where we are today was well worth the struggle. We utilize our hardship to help others learn what we did without the trials and tribulations. Our success derives from their success, which is what makes it so impactful.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to downtown Raleigh,

I would take them to a couple of nice food markets and places in the downtown area. Then we would head over to Durham, NC to check out a Durham Bulls Baseball game. We would then finish of the evening having a drink at the Skyline in Downtown Raleigh, NC.

One of the great things about the Raleigh Durham area is it is very modern and eclectic all around this phenomenal area.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
National Athletic Professional Success Academy, NAPSA, thanks to this program that was created by my mentor and business coach Mr. Brad Mitchell, our brand has been able to really excel at every facet of the work that we do. Our brand owes so much of our success and prosperity to the awesome training that we received.
