We had the good fortune of connecting with Toni Renee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Toni Renee, how do you think about risk?
I don’t look at risks as a negative thing. Rather than calling it a risk, I’d like to call it taking a chance. Every risk/chance/ decision we make from our own gut or intuition is meant to be made in order to shape us somehow.

Over time I coached myself into saying yes to things more. Even if they were scary, self doubt kicked in, or If i felt like I wasn’t “qualified” enough. From me doing so I’ve elevated in my crafts and learned so much. So really there is no down fall in taking a chance. It’s a win win when you’re coming out with a learning lesson on the other end.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I wear a lot of hats. When people ask what I do. It’s almost easier to think of what I don’t do. Simply put I am a creative executioner in all lanes but favor music entertainment & Fashion.

From the age of 9yrs old I began writing raps and dancing at an even earlier age . At the time my mother had a boyfriend that was fresh out of jail and he saw me sitting and writing lyrics down. He taught me how to put them in order properly and her gave me my first rap name “Baby T” haha I grew up in a house that always played great music and a wide variety of music. So alongside playing sports, music has been my passion. I pursued my own musical journey, recording in my in home setup from when I was a teen and then elevating from there. Once I graduated HS, I went to college where I majored in Music recording and management. Skip ahead , I had a lot of life altering challenges. My mother passed away unexpectedly before my 21st bday and a couple years later a partner of mine was killed by a drunk driver. This caused me to step away from making music personally. I was in a really dark place for some time . I had a clothing line I started but I wasn’t fully aligned with my entire purpose. I eventually chose pursue my other interests that were fashion and visual arts, but It just added to the many hats I wear and I couldn’t stay away from music or working with artist. Through self realization I felt like my life purpose is to help people. I’ve always helped people , but on a creative side I wanted to help push people to become the best they can be. The way I wished I would have pushed myself in it. I’m not happy unless I’m creating something. Whether it’s in Personal styling fashion, directing music videos , in the studio helping artist sharpen their sound and brand ,business development ect . My personal brand is really all about helping elevate people and in that journey elevating myself. It’s about overcoming all of life’s pit stops and challenges to walk in my purpose. No matter how hard it is or long it takes. Taking chances to see how big things can get.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well Me being from AZ I have a ton of places I enjoy. I’m always going to suggest some good tacos from Baja Roots truck . A trip to Sedona for some beautiful energy and hikes. Downtown Phoenix is my favorite place to be. So we are hitting killerwhale s*x club for a drink, valley bar and bar smith for some dancing, some live music. I’d say chars but they closed it. Probably lush cafe for live music vibes now, or the Womack. Too much to list but never a dull moment when someone visits me in Az
