Hi Janina, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
The most important thing I’ve done as a parent is lead by example. I’ve shown my children the value of hard work, perseverance, and following your passions. Building my business while putting family first wasn’t always easy, but I hope they learned that with dedication and a positive attitude, you can achieve your goals while still being there for the people you love. Seeing them grow into caring, independent adults makes me proud every day.”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an owner of Modshots PhotoBooth, a business built from my love of photography and creating experiences that bring people together. What excites me most is seeing guests step in front of the camera, let loose, and create memories they will cherish for years to come.
What sets ModShots apart is our focus on quality, style, and personalization. From our photo booths and glam experiences to our custom-designed templates every event is treated as unique. I believe a photo booth should be more than just a service it should be an experience that enhances the celebration and leaves guests talking about it long after the event is over.
Professionally, I got where I am today through passion, persistence, and a willingness to keep learning. Since launching ModShots ,I have continued to grow the business by investing in new experiences, building relationships within the event industry, and always putting my clients first.
The journey has not always been easy. Like many business owners, I’ve faced challenges with technology, equipment issues, and learning how to market and grow a brand. Every challenge became an opportunity to learn, adapt, and improve. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success comes from consistency, relationships, and never being afraid to try something new.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that ModShots PhotoBooth is built on genuine passion and a love for creating memories. Behind every event is someone who truly cares about making people smile, celebrating life’s special moments, and providing an experience that guests will remember. I am incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what the future holds.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shoutout to my husband, family, and all of the amazing clients who have supported me throughout this journey.

My husband has been my biggest supporter from day one. He has encouraged me, helped me through challenges, and celebrated every milestone along the way. Building a business takes a lot of time and dedication,
having his support has meant everything to me.

I also want to recognize my family for always believing in me and cheering me on. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to keep growing and pursuing what I love.

And of course, a huge thank you to my clients. Every booking, referral, review, and kind word has helped ModShots PhotoBooth grow. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted me to be part of their weddings, celebrations, and special moments. Seeing people have fun and create memories is the reason I started this business, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support. Lastly, I’d like to recognize the wedding and event community. The planners, photographers, DJs, venue owners, and fellow vendors I’ve met along the way have been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and inspiring. It’s amazing to be part of an industry filled with people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.
