We had the good fortune of connecting with Terry Yetter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Terry, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is my wife. If not for the encouragement and support of her I would not have been comfortable in pursuing a career in Real Estate so late in life. She is the one who pushed me to pursue my dreams and turn them into a reality. She inspires me daily to challenge myself to be better than yesterday.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Realtor based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. What sets me apart from others is that I try to learn as much as I can about my client. I ask them more questions about themselves and what they hope to achieve not only in the home buying/selling process but in life in general. I like to form lifelong bonds with the people I meet and I want to learn more how I can serve them. Real estate is never easy. It’s very complex in the amount of paperwork and legal activities that must be done to ensure a smooth transaction. I wake up every day knowing that I am going to perform hours of work not knowing when my next paycheck is coming in. I am constantly trying to establish myself as a recognizable brand. I have learned that hard work and persistence pays off. I have learned that my success is based on the quality relationships that I create along my journey. There are many reasons and people behind my success. I look good because of the help I have received from others. I would like people to know that I will always strive to help others. I want to see others succeed and I will continue to be a cheerleader for others. I also want people to know that I will work relentlessly to help them in their real estate transaction.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since I work and live in Chandler AZ, I would show them around my hometown. We are surrounded by great hiking trails and nature walks. We have wonderful museums and art galleries and farmer’s markets. Downtown Chandler has lots of eating and drinking establishments and there is never a shortage of things to do. We would also drive further east to visit the lakes and also view the Superstition Mountains. If time permits, we would also venture further out to visit the world renowned Grand Canyon. There is plenty of things to do in town and all across the state of Arizona.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
