Meet Nicole Biello | Actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Biello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’m pursuing a career in acting because I am absolutely in love with it. Film/TV has impacted me in ways that have changed my life in the best way, and my ultimate goal is to do the same for others.

I’ve turned to entertainment for many reasons. Sometimes I’m looking to get out of my head and laugh a little, to experience something new, or just to pass the time. At other instances, I’m hoping to see struggles similar to my own depicted on a screen. New seasons of shows, upcoming feature films, etc… they continue to pique my excitement and suspense, giving me something to look forward to; in my darkest times, something to keep me going.

I want my work to be somebody’s escape from the reality of their difficult circumstances… I also want to acknowledge that reality by telling the darker, more challenging stories that cause people to think and feel so deeply… I want to make people laugh, cry, smile, and everything in between… I want to create and portray relatable characters so that even just one person in the world can tune in and feel less alone. I want to uplift, inspire, and entertain others through everything I put out into the world. Acting is such a magical, expressive art form, and my passion for it grows every day.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others, quite simply, is that I’m myself. I think every creative individual in this industry, myself included, brings their own wealth of unique experiences, talent, and essence to the table!

I’m most proud of how much I’ve grown, not only throughout my acting journey, but in life itself as a whole. Getting to where I am today professionally has not been easy, but it has undoubtedly been worth it!!! Of course I still have so much further to go and so much more to experience, but the existing part of my journey has definitely been a challenge. I struggle greatly with my mental health, and before I could even consider pursuing acting, I needed to get myself into a better and more stable headspace. Managing my mental health is an ongoing battle and responsibility, but I’m glad to say I’m in a better place (overall) than I used to be.
Pursuing film and TV acting in a professional context comes with its own plethora of challenges; constant rejection, competition, comparison, etc. I’ve overcome these difficulties by reaching out for help when I’ve needed it and just constantly expanding my knowledge of the industry. I’ve learned, and not to sound like a cat poster, but, that anything is possible. If you’re deeply passionate about something and willing to put in the work, there’s really no way to not succeed in some way!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh wow, that’s a loaded question!

Well, New Jersey isn’t exactly the most interesting place to visit, but there are things I would definitely plan to do with this friend. In no particular order, we might go out shopping, to the roller skating rink, or just hang out at my house. I think we would spend the bulk of the time just talking and catching up, rather than doing things, since it sounds like it would be the reuniting of a long distance friendship, and in that case, there’s definitely tea to be spilled HAHA. I haven’t been to any places in my area in particular that are outstandingly exciting or fun, but if we were able to go down to the shore, Ocean City would be a must-visit!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my mom. She has always been the biggest pillar of support in my life, through not only my acting career, but in everything I’ve ever worked toward and accomplished. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her constant encouragement, endless support, and unconditional love. 🙂
