We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency. Doing what needs to be done on days or at times when you don’t feel like it, it what separates people and brands from becoming successful. Being consistent has also allowed be to grow my brand because it allows me to connect with my audience and provide assurance to them that I will be there everyday when they log on to the internet.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It was definitely not easy to get where I am today in my career. Challenges I often faced forced me to make a choice between being young and having fun or making sacrifices and missing out on things. Along the way I’ve learned that trading short term gratification for long-term success is worth it, but never easy. I want people to know about my brand and story that anything is possible if you put in the time and work, it’s never to late to chase your dreams, surround yourself with people who want you to be happy, and never let doubt creep into your mind.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First, I would make sure that they came during WMO/Super Bowl weekend. On Saturday, we would go to Hash Kitchen for brunch before heading to the Open.

During the week we would have a night where we would go to top golf for dinner and finish the night at the talking stick casino. Another day we would play a round of golf at Boulders Golf Club and finish the night with dinner at Mastro’s in Kierland Commons. Go up to Sedona and take a Pink Jeep Tour, take a walk around Old Town, and hike Pinnacle Peak.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My girlfriend. She has made sacrifices that allowed me to pursue my dream of content creation when I first started out that allowed me to go all in and get ahead of the curve. She has also always been supportive with every decision I’ve made and encouraged me when things have gotten tough.
