We had the good fortune of connecting with Elijah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elijah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I didn’t have any, I was just winging it like I normally do but I figured if I’m going to be spending all this money on car parts and making YouTube videos might as well try and make some money while doing it. I met my friend Evie, and that is when things changed. She is super smart and very business savvy. She helps me a ton and put me on the path to have a legal business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Creating content is what keeps me busy professionally. My business model is based on creating YouTube videos. Building vehicles takes a lot of time and then adding the filming and editing process on top of that leaves me little time left. I consider myself a hobbyist since I still have a full-time job. Like with everything the more you do it the better you’ll get.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I plan trips it is very loose. I don’t like rushing places. I think a rigid itinerary is stressful and takes away from the trip. With that said, I would take them camping in Utah. I’ve spent a few nights camping in Utah, but I haven’t seen enough. I’ve seen many awesome pictures from there. I would hope my friend is ready for an awesome trip to the back country and hiking and just plain spectacular views. Of course, we are going to visit Arches National Park, Capitol Reef National Park and Moab if time permits. Food wise, I normally eat the best when I am camping. So, steaks, burgers, and smores will be for sure on the menu. I also bring a refrigerator/freezer with me when I go camping, so we can bring anything.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

Shoutout to my Mother. We made a deal that when she is ready to expand on her house, I would have to move my cars. Without her letting me collect cars, trucks, and random other things to put my cars together I would be here. Allowing me to use her driveway to build.

Also, Evie, she invited me to be co-driver and race in the Mint400 Desert Race. We came in second place for our first race. She’s helped me so much in the business and legal aspect.

To these two powerful ladies Thank you.
