We had the good fortune of connecting with Josue Zepeda and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Josue, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
-The most difficult decision I had to make was leaving my stable job to pursue my dreams. The uncertainty of not knowing wether this journey is going to work out can make you second guess your decisions. I’ve been firm on what I wanted to do and with the experience I have I knew everything was going to be amazing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The work that we do serves all Northern Arizona. Currently Located in Prescott Valley but we expand as far as Flagstaff . It has been a solid three years of hard work. While maintaining a full-time job and running a business was definitely a challenge. I’m thankfull that I can focus one-hundred percent in Landscaping and it shows with my clients. I’ve learned that in life, you must chase your dreams and not put too much emphazis on money because that will come later. As long as you do what you love and love what you do you can consider yourself already rich.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I show them around my own hometown. If there’s any place that I am more proud of, it’s where I live. I could go to other places, like sedona for example and its beautiful but where I think i would provide a greater experience is in Prescott Valley because of what I know about it. History, good places to eat and exciting outdoor activities.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Throughout the years I have to give credit to Jorge Serrano, who is the master landscaper for the company. He has taught me many tricks of the trade and am where I am because of his guidance. Currently he’s my right hand man and any jobs go through him. He has a way to giving the “professional touch” to every landscape job we do.
