Meet Amber Mikesell | Founder of Suivera

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Mikesell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amber, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Suivera is a grass roots effort to create a global movement of love. We were established as a non-profit all-faiths organization in late 2018, breaking into our global reach effort in 2020. Since then, we’ve reached over 1.1 million members in 86 countries right here from Scottsdale, AZ — and we’re continuing to grow at a steady pace.
We focus on love as the common language and connection point, bringing our community together through our truest essence. Each of our faiths, each of our hearts, each of our souls desire to connect through love yet at times we hold onto what we perceive separates us instead of the love that binds us. Suivera’s mission is to begin to peel away the perceived barriers we place in our way and show how connecting through love is not only possible, but is vital to our overall health and wellbeing.
We do this in multiple ways:
1. free open livestream service available through Facebook
2. free resources available on our website and through social media
3. free and low cost courses and workshops
4. free weekly podcast
5. coaching services and so much more
Our goal is to meet each of our community members where they are and support them as they carve their own path. With over one million hearts already joined together in success, we’re beyond excited to see where the next several years will take us!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What we’re most excited about at the moment here at Suivera is our Heart Leader Program. We have many ways to get involved through our organization, from listening to our weekly podcast to exploring our free resources and beginning to implement the practices into your daily life. But the Heart Leader Program pulls all of that together in one place and provides a structure and framework for those who are goal oriented and ready to lead their life from their heart.
Heart Leaders are those in the community who align heart and mind to make a greater impact. They are those individuals who believe that one person can change the world through the power of Love and are committed to being that person through actions, words, energy and thought.
In the Heart Leader Program, there are twelve defined attributes that are broken down over the course of the year. These attributes include Compassion, Communication, Authenticity, Transparency, Self-Love and so on. A new attribute is kicked off at the beginning of each month, then the Heart Leaders in the program can follow along in their Heart Leader Toolbox as we dive into different real-life challenges and how the tools provided can be used to embody the highlighted attribute in their daily lives.
Suivera is committed to empowering Heart Leaders to move from “knowing what to do” to “understanding how to do it in a loving and conscious way” when the time comes.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m a nature girl, so my favorite place is the 40th Street Trailhead. I love this hiking trail because it offers a variety of options for guests, from a fairly easy stroll with beautiful views to a decent mountain hike – there’s something for everyone. There’s also a space on a rock cluster, surrounded by mountains, that’s perfect for quiet reflection and meditation.
After a lovely hike, lunch at Picazzo’s is the next stop. Their gluten free vegan spicy Thai peanut chick’n pasta fills my dreams. The staff at the Paradise Valley location treat you like family, welcoming from the moment you walk through the door and cooking love into each dish they prepare.
From here we would likely head down to check out some of the wonderful shops and art galleries in Old Town Scottsdale. Each boutique has such personality and is so dynamic that it’s never the same experience twice.
Once we’ve finished shopping, we’d explore some of the spectacular museums our city has to offer. From the MIM to the Heard Museum and Arizona Science Center, there’s so much to see and do that generally we run out of time before we run out of sites to see.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Wow, there are so many people who deserve a shoutout here. First and foremost is my love, Austin Uhl. This man saw a vision with me in Suivera that many were uncertain could be initiated. There was never a doubt in his heart or mind that a global movement of love was possible. He took my hand and, without hesitation, asked where do we start. His business acumen and calm, steady nature is a catalyst in this process and Suivera wouldn’t be a global movement without him.
Next is my son, Joshua Martin. This young man showed me the definition of unconditional love from the moment I knew he would be joining us in this world. When I discovered I was pregnant with him I also discovered I had stage 3A cervical cancer. Together he and I navigated treatment, birth and post treatment, and love was frequently the very thing that kept us alive. I could feel him rooting for us even on the days when I could hardly muster the strength to get out of bed. This was one of many points in my own journey when the power of love and connection clearly showed me what was possible. My son continues to be a reflection of what love can do when we remove our perceived limitations and I couldn’t be more grateful to be in witness of his life.
Then there’s Austin’s family and mine. Family is everything to both Austin and me. We have such amazing support standing with us. They challenge us at times, causing us to grow when and where needed. Bob and Ellen Uhl, James and Norma Brabb – they are foundational to all that we do.
And finally, countless friends and support who continue to bring Suivera into a reality, including but not limited to: The Transformation Network for all their editing support, Linda Levitt and Rosie Kuhn for their support in our educational resources, our Heart Leader Podcast Guests (theheartleaderpodcast.com) for the time and wisdom they share each week, and StevenDouglas (stevendouglas.com) who sponsors so many of our efforts.
I am indeed where I am thanks in HUGE part to these wonderful people and many others. The love they share and support they show is instrumental and I’m eternally grateful for all of them.
