Meet Gina Marie Leingang | Energy Healer, Human Design Reader & Coach.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gina Marie Leingang and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gina Marie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?

I come from the corporate world. I have spent the last 20+ years as a hospitality corporate executive, climbing the corporate ladder. When I began this journey 3 years ago, I knew I was missing something in my life, something that was part of my purpose. Through this journey I found human design, the moment I was introduced to it I knew that I needed to become completely versed in it so I could provide this information to the world. That was where Magic by Design HD was born. From human design, learning my energy, my gifts, how I am designed to respond to life has helped me discover that this is a piece of my purpose in this world. To help others discover the magical gifts that they have deep inside of them, what makes them, them.

From beginning my business through giving human design readings & coaching based on each client’s human design has given me the opportunity to expand my business into energy work. Helping others uncover and release energetic blocks within themselves. Coming from the corporate world, I know that energy work can be looked at as “woo-wooy” or “hippy”. It is part of my purpose to help normalize energy work, energy healing within our society. When helping others discover their true talents, the true essence of who they are through human design & energy work is why I began my business, Magic by Design HD.

What should our readers know about your business?
If you would have asked me five years ago if I would be a business owner, I probably would have laughed and said nope nope nope! I love being a business owner, I would not call it easy but one of the lessons that I have learned is that when you find that passion, that thing that just lights you up, you will succeed. Releasing control is one thing that owning this business has taught me. I have this vision on how I want to normalize energy work in our day-to-day world, What I am learning is with the passion I have behind energy healing, human design work that I will get to my end goal. I am confident in my message, confident in my abilities, I am always a student learning every single day, it is about having trust knowing that the end goal is within reach, and having the trust that everything is unfolding in divine timing. I am so proud of seeing my vision coming to life, I see each client, each session as helping someone uncover a piece of magic about themselves. I had the opportunity to bring human design into the corporate world, I had a team of 8 executives all with very different energy. I was able to bring human design into their corporate session, teaching each of them not only about their energy, but the energy of their co-workers, and how to use each of their energy types to create an even more cohesive team then they already had.

As I have expanded into energy work, I recently had a session a business owner. He was in a sales slump and couldn’t figure out how to get out of the funk his business was experiencing. After only one energy session he said he felt an overall lightness and happiness within himself. The very next day he closed a $100,000 piece of business on a client that he had all but given up on.
I could go on and on with stories like the above, it makes me so incredibly happy working with teams, families, individuals, children, parents etc helping them unlock the magic within them with human design and clearing energic blocks through energy healing.

I would like the world to know that energy work is a modality that is needed now more than ever. Everything is energy, we are energy. I see human design and energy healing going hand in hand. Human Design helps you understand the core being of who you are and the gifts you have for this world. Energy healing assists with clearing blocks, that feeling of heaviness that gets clogged within our energy field. I truly get SO excited every time I have a client book, have a new client session, a group session, I am just so incredibly thankful that I am able to help others unlock their magic!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The first thing I can think of is ROAD Trip!! That is why I LOVE Arizona so much is there is so much to see and do that is within driving distance!

I live in the west valley, so I would start with a hike in the White Tank Mountains, the waterfall trail is one of my favorites, I love the energy that area brings. From there we would refresh with delicious caffeine from Sunsational Coffee, that is my go-to local west valley coffee shop and then stop into Boyer Bakery for a yummy pastry. A massage & energy balancing is a must so an appointment at Synergistic Healing and Reiki session at Angels Touch Reiki!

I love all things unique so we would plan a trip to Brass Armadillo– I love just getting lost in that amazing store and seeing what treasures we can find! We would then have to go and make a trip into North Phoenix to top off our vintage shopping at 3 Vintage Chicks! We would be exhausted from all the shopping, pizza from Little Sicily would be the perfect ending to the day!

Next, we would jump in the car and drive to Sedona– one of my most favorite places in the world! We would stay in Oak Creek Canyon in the Junipine Resort– make sure to get a creekhouse with a jacuzzi on the deck! We would hike to the vortex on Airport Mesa and then get a card reading and go crystal shopping at Mystical Bazaar. We would top off the day with massages & facials at NAMTI Spa.

From there we would travel up though Oak Creek Canyon switchbacks to Flagstaff- my hometown! We would stop at Brandy’s for the best chai tea that I have very had and then roam though the stores in downtown Flagstaff- with definite stops at The Flagstaff General Store for your must get cozy Flagstaff hoodies & the best fudge next door at the Sweet Shoppe. We would end the day at NiMarco’s pizza! You can tell I am an Italian girl– I will find pizza everywhere I go!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I first learned about human design when I was going through one of the hardest battles in my life. My teenage daughter and I were living in a hotel at the end of 2020 on the east coast as she was recovering from an intense surgery of lengthening her leg. Our family was in Arizona and the two of us were living across the country for 6 weeks as she recovered. It was winter in Baltimore, COVID cases were on the rise, we were in and out of the hospital every single day. One of my nearest and dearest friends, he is actually more like a brother to me, Nicholas was trying to keep my spirits up so I could continue to keep my daughters spirits up. Him and I decided to join an online course by one of my favorite manifestation experts, Manifestation Babe by Kathrin Zenkina, Kathrin was having an online course, Epically Aligned to help you set goals on things you would like to manifest for the new year. Nicholas and I signed up for the class to be each other’s  accountability partners as we each decided what we wanted to manifest in 2021. The class was literally meant to help keep me positive and to remind me that this was only a phase of my life and much brighter things were on the horizon. In that class I was introduced to human design and knew I needed to learn more. I was obsessed with pulling my chart as well as my families charts to try to understand what energy type we each had. Nicholas saw how intrigued I was, he then surprised me with my very own personalized reading from a human design reader. After I had that reading, I was hooked, I needed to learn everything there was about human design. Nicholas was actually the very first reading that I did. He has played such a big piece of my journey and I must shout him out for his constant support of me following my dreams that I didn’t even know I had.
