Hi Yesenia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and brand is sharing God’s love and joy with my items. If it let’s one person know that they’re loved by the most high and get joy through my items, I have succeeded. Sharing joy with personalized items in my community has been a blessing and a big part of my mission.

What should our readers know about your business?
Yessify It- Let me start with explaining the reason for our business name. My name is Yesenia but my family and friends call me Yesse and since we are a personalization business, my go to saying is let me ” Yessify It for you” which means let me add my creativity to your custom order.

Yessify It was created two years ago during a really difficult time for all of us- the pandemic. At the time I was working and in college but due to my father having high risks with his health, I needed to figure out a way to stay home and make ends meet. Then my pops had the bright idea of motivating me to start my business and decided to invest in my dream. I didn’t realize that, that was the last thing he would be giving me. Which means the world to me.
We are a faith based personalization shop. We offer faith based shirts, cups, totes and lots more with unique designs! We also offer personalization. You can custom create a shirt, cup, tote, and lots more for birthdays, businesses, gifts, you name it and I’ll create it!

While growing my business, one of the hardships that I had to go through was having to say goodbye to my pops. When he past in the early stages of my business, I struggled to maintain the drive I had. After months of grieving, I was at a cross road of deciding to quit my business or grow it. Taking the time to remember why I started my business and letting God guide me through the process, helped me find the motivation I needed. The love that I was able to receive from the community of my customers, helped me understand that my business has a mission that needed to continue. I am happy I kept going because the support and opportunities God keeps sending my way has been amazing. One exciting opportunity we are thrilled about it being a part of Local First Fall Fest on November 5th, 2022 ( flyer down below) It will be another stepping stone for my mission.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Our week would be filled of my favorite coffee spot: Tres leches café and breakfast spot: Colados Coffee & Crepes, Breakfast club, and The farm at south mountain. Also can’t forget the boba drinks from bosa donuts. For Activities we would be doing is first Friday, going to the south central mercado where the vibes of the community are amazing and it’s so much fun supporting small businesses. Also going to As you wish pottery painting place at Tempe marketplace and enjoying the day there at the marketplace. There are so many food choices and activities. Ending the week with going to worship God together at A light in a city Church.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It wouldn’t be a shoutout if I don’t start with this…I am grateful for God for giving me the creativity and joy he gives me daily. I want to give a shoutout to my parents Erika and Eusebio for investing in my business and believing in me. Shout out to my pops who is in heaven- He was the first one to encourage me to make my passion into my business. I am also thankful for my fiancé for being my #1 supporter and helping me long nights with orders. I am thankful for my family, friends, and so many small businesses who have been encouraging me and showing me support. I love the small business community! Also a big shout out to my customers for all the love they have been giving me through this journey. I am truly grateful. When you support a small business, you’re supporting a big dream!
