We had the good fortune of connecting with Abimael Acuna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Abimael, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Because it’s what I love, I feel free when I’m drawing, when I’m sketching a new design for my clients.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Most of my designs I make them from scratch, from suggestions, from pictures I took. I’m feel so proud of myself because I’m the first one who does art in my family so for me was hard to get where I’m at because I couldn’t had a support or like to ask about art to my parents or family members because non of them like art like I do.
I want the world to know that I’m a tattoo artist who take very seriously his job, I’m a professional tattoo artist.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well… to all my clients. They are the real supporters, thanks for everything. Thanks for all the support you give me.! Without all of you I won’t be here.! Thanks a lot.!!
