We had the good fortune of connecting with Dean Kaiserman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dean, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the secret behind our success is good old fashion customer service, high quality products and services at reasonable prices. Our first concern is customer satisfaction and we strive to exceed expectations. If we do make a mistake we take ownership of it and do whatever is necessary to fix it.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Phoenix Canopy & Shades is a manufacturer of all things made from canvas and then some! From architectural shade structures to custom equipment covers we can produce and install just about anything.

I believe what sets us apart is our dedication to helping our customers solve their needs, as well as, good old fashion customer service! We produce commercial grade products at fair prices. above all else we operate with integrity.

As a businessman I’m most proud of my team, without the hard work and dedication we would be nothing. I value each and every one of the people who work with us. I’m especially proud to be able to provide good paying jobs that support the families who rely on it.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way, is to act with integrity, be a straight shooter and do what you say you’re going to do.

I’d like the world to know when you contract Phoenix Canopy & Shades for your project that we will go the distance to make sure we exceed expectations!

If for some reason we don’t exceed your expectations I’d like to know personally. I can be reached at Dean@phoenixcanopyshades.com

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week I’d have an awesome itinerary starting with a trip to the Boyce Thompson arboretum in Superior Arizona, then I’d make our way back to the Goldfield Ghost Town for lunch with the Superstition mountains in the background. Afterwards we’d take a drive down to Saguaro lake for some kayaking. The following days I would include a day at the World Wild Life zoo and then to the Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting. The following day would be a day trip to Jerome Az. a historic mining town and then on to my favorite place, Sedona Az. The next day we would visit the Grand Canyon followed by the Petrified forest and then we’d make the trek down to Pine Top Az. and go to one of the many lakes in the area where it is common to see eagles and ospreys. The trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to some of my favorite restaurants such as, Darbies in Pinetop or Valle Lunas in Phoenix. I would conclude the trip with an evening in Scottsdale with Martinis at AZ 88. and dinner at the Tortilla Factory.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Phoenix Canopy & Shades owes a debt of gratitude first to my wife Amy Kaiserman who has been instrumental in the building of our online presence and SEO. Then to my partners Joseph Hale and Ruben Neri who bring their years of shade and awning experience and expertise to the table along with their hard work and dedication to help me build a company we can be proud of. The backbone of our company is our people! We would be nothing without our skilled sewers, cutters, and installers.
