I always had a thing for movies as a kid. I could quote Bruce Almighty or Shrek from start to finish, I could watch movies from when I woke up to when I went to sleep. I had always wanted to make movies, thus I went to film school. However, in film school, I realized film itself wasn’t what drove me, but the ability and freedom to create are where I found my muse. I am a teacher and have always loved photography. It wasn’t until COVID that I truly had time to peruse my passion. Finding that I could get outdoors and take photos was relaxing and inviting for me. I am an equestrian and as I started taking pictures I realized I had a knack for taking pictures of horses. Soon my friends started to ask me to be their photographer for shows and other projects. I am currently working on pursuing a career in music. I’d have to say this is because music has always been something I have always held close.

My dad had a lot of girls and wanted them to either not attend college or get an education in medicine so when I chose the path of an artist, that didn’t sit right with him. I didn’t let that persuade me and I went to school and received a BFA in Graphic Design and a BA in Film Production, I have a huge passion for all things art and love learning new aspects of it.
