We had the good fortune of connecting with Abby Kahn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Abby, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I began my career teaching kindergarten and 2nd grade in the Phoenix area and throughout my six years in the schools, I always loved creating inviting and special spaces for my students. Setting up my classroom was always one of my favorite things to do!

After I became a mom, I equally loved creating activity-based play spaces for my children and finding ways to make my family’s life easier by developing easy to maintain organizational solutions throughout our house. When my friends started asking me for help setting up and organizing a range of spaces in their homes, I knew I to wanted to make a career out of it.

I’ve always been personally organized (the “Abbsolutely” is a play on my name), but now it’s my passion to help others create positive emotional connections with their spaces and to work with my clients to create and sustain happy and orderly homes.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Abbsolutely Organized is a luxury professional organizing business. I take pride in every detail of each project – from the product planning to the install. Although I love to incorporate my favorite organizing products, I pick items that cater to each client’s specific wishes and matches their home’s design. I always get excited when meeting with potential clients to discuss their dream organized spaces and how I can help them. I love to see and be apart of each and every organizing transformation. It makes me so happy when clients are able to maintain systems and spaces because of what I created for them. I owe a lot of my success to past clients for referring me. Shout out to my family for always supporting me and helping me in every possible way


If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When visitors come to town, I love to take them to brunch at either Butterfield’s or JJ’s. Hiking is always fun (when it isn’t so hot out!) Most of our guests have kids, so we tend to do kid-friendly activities like going to the Train Park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate my shoutout to all my past + future clients. They keep me motivated and have supported me. I wouldn’t be able to be successful without them!
