Meet Antonio Johnson | Creative, Graphic Artist, Photographer, Vdeographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Antonio, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I would like to think my business helps the community by giving a professional look with an artistic approach. As a young Black Man, I show the community what’s it like to believe in yourself and put your all into your passion of what you love. while serving your purpose, i believe everyone has different goals styles and approaches in life but were all destine for greatest it’s how we choose to go about it. by me continuously growing in my craft of art I’m showing that it’s possible to go into business and make a name for yourself off of hard work and dedication. My business helps entrepreneurs, upcoming businesses, brands and artist that’s inspired to promote there Selfs with a professional marketable look that’s artistically design. I use my skills and platform to display and promote their brand as if it were my own because I believe in theirs as much as they believe in mine. I built my business off of working with locals from my community that have aspirations of making an idea or thought come to life. I create from understanding. So, I to can relate to wanting to build something out of nothing with hopes of being seen.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My digital art pieces have a mixture of music, thought, and faith. The pieces I design has an ink blot type of feel where the viewer can see differently than the artist or the next. Each piece is of a Hip Hop or R&B artist that passing impacted the world with their words and movement. I gave my pieces an ink blot look because to me music is therapy and a lot of us use music to relax and relieve stress. what sets me aside from others is I still believe love, dedication and being yourself is the key to success. I’m most proud about being consistent and staying creative because that’s what led me to where I am today Its never an easy journey figuring out your purpose and believing in yourself especially when life comes at you from all angles and sides. I overcame my challenges by figuring out my passion because I didn’t understand my purpose. the lessons I learned along the way is not giving up. When get its tough get tougher because that’s how hard you have to fight to believe in yourself and your dreams. I would like the world to know my brand is a movement of believers who’s on a journey of finding themselves
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a friend to come visit, I would prefer the summertime to go downtown Detroit to enjoy the scenery hit the beach and the DIA to check out some fine art. I’m an adventurous type of person so I would have to say kayaking up north to relax and get a clear mind hit the cony island for some coney dogs and fries some other cool places to check out is deluxe flux, campus martius park, and spot lite Detroit.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a special shoutout to my high school Math teacher Mr. Patrick Alexander. I was always told never forget the ones who help or gives guidance along your journey of figuring out what you’re destine to be. Without Mr. Alexander noticing my talent and sharing that with a friend of his, who owned a photography studio, which led me to getting an internship/Job. I wouldn’t have gotten the experience and resources I was exposed to without his recognition. So, I ‘am truly thankful for you and your belief in me. last but not least I would like to give a special shoutout out to the artist Tony Whlgn the tips and tricks you showed me back then I still use now so I’m forever appreciative of you sharing your knowledge and creative look of things in my creative journey.
