We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariana Monell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ariana, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I grew up in a family where alcoholism and mental illness were prevalent, and I found myself following a destructive path early on. By the age of eighteen, I was already deeply immersed in a lifestyle of partying and seeking temporary escapes through drugs and alcohol. I felt trapped and believed that success was reserved for those born into wealth or privilege. I had a distorted view of myself, leading to self-hatred and a sense of victimhood.
However, my life took a significant turn when, at age 23, I hit another rock bottom in Miami after a toxic relationship ended and my drug use escalated. It was during this dark period that I started searching for answers and stumbled upon motivational thought leaders on YouTube. This was the beginning of a transformative journey that shifted my perspective on life. I became passionate about personal and spiritual development, seeking ways to heal my trauma and regain control over my life.
Throughout my 20s, I invested heavily in my own growth, attending various transformational events and learning from mentors and coaches. I underwent a profound healing process, guided by a coach named Lorinda, who helped me create a new vision for myself. With her support, I faced my addictions and self-destructive patterns and learned to manage my mental and emotional state in healthier ways. This marked the turning point that allowed me to break free from the old story that had been holding me back.
In 2018, inspired by my own journey of empowerment, I transitioned into a new career path as a certified life coach, specializing in mental and emotional wellness. Over the years, I continued to grow professionally, adding executive coaching to my repertoire. Today, I stand as a proud ICF-certified life, leadership, and executive coach, committed to helping others find their paths to fulfillment and self-acceptance.
My upbringing and early experiences instilled in me a deep sense of resilience and determination. I went from feeling ashamed and lost to becoming independent and self-sufficient. My background shaped my understanding of the importance of mental and emotional health and the value of self-discovery and personal growth.
While my past remains a part of my history, it no longer defines my future. I have embraced the belief that we have the power to create our own reality and that our stories can be rewritten with acceptance, compassion, and self-love. Through my coaching, I aim to empower others to break free from their limiting beliefs and unlock their true potential. I believe that everyone deserves to lead a fulfilling life they love and that the journey of personal growth is ongoing and deeply enriching.
What should our readers know about your business?
As an ICF Professional Certified Coach, my coaching practice, Conscious Creative Coaching, is built upon a foundation of ontology (the nature of being) and a deep focus on active listening, mindfulness awareness, and powerful questioning. I believe in creating a safe and judgment-free space for self-exploration, allowing my clients to delve into the core of their challenges and aspirations. My coaching sessions are designed to facilitate deep insights, providing the clarity and confidence needed to create an exciting and fulfilling future.
My journey to become a coach was not an easy one. It was marked by personal struggles, including battles with addiction and self-destructive habits. However, through perseverance and a commitment to my own personal and spiritual development, I found a path of healing and transformation. I invested extensively in my own growth, attending transformational training, webinars, and seminars, and ultimately becoming a certified life coach through Ideal Coaching Global, an organization accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
A significant turning point in my life was my encounter with my mentor and coach, Lorinda. She played a crucial role in piecing together my broken parts and empowering me to take control of my life. Her guidance around creating a new vision for myself and overcoming my addictions and self-destructive behaviors was life-changing. Under her tutelage, I began the process of reprogramming my subconscious mind and detaching from the limiting beliefs that had held me hostage for so long.
With my newfound sense of purpose and direction, I started my own private practice, Conscious Creative Coaching, LLC. I also expanded my expertise by becoming an emotional wellness coach with Lyra Health, specializing in cognitive behavioral coaching (CBC), and adding executive coaching to my repertoire. Today, I proudly stand as an ICF-certified life, leadership, and executive coach, specializing in mental and emotional wellness.
What sets me apart from others is my unique journey of transformation. Having experienced rock bottom and emerged from it stronger and wiser, I understand the depth of pain and challenges my clients may face. My empathy, combined with my coaching skills, allows me to create a profound impact on their lives.
My coaching style emphasizes active listening, curiosity, and mindfulness awareness. By delving deep into my clients’ thoughts, feelings, and aspirations, I help them navigate unhelpful patterns, habits, and roadblocks. Together, we work on finding unique solutions to their specific challenges.
I specialize in various areas, including stress management, anxiety, and overwhelm, understanding and managing emotions, building self-love and confidence, communication and relationships, vision and goal setting, imposter syndrome, and burnout prevention.
The core message I want the world to know about me and my brand is that transformation is possible, no matter the past or the challenges faced. I am living proof that our stories do not have to dictate our futures. Through the power of self-discovery, self-compassion, and intentional growth, we can break free from limiting beliefs and create a life aligned with our passions and strengths.
My coaching journey is an ongoing commitment to personal growth, and I remain dedicated to continuously stretching myself and exploring discomfort. I aim to inspire my clients to do the same, helping them find fulfillment by trusting in themselves, being in alignment with their true selves, and fully embracing their visions and dreams.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would be thrilled to dedicate my shoutout to Lorinda Bartlett, the transformative coach who played a pivotal role in my journey of personal growth and self-discovery. Lorinda’s impact on my life was profound, and without her guidance and support, I might not have found the strength to break free from my self-destructive patterns and create a new, fulfilling reality.
Lorinda provided me with value-centered guidance and helped me craft a new vision for myself and my life. Through her coaching, I learned to face my addictions and self-destructive habits, and she showed me how to manage my mental and emotional state in healthier ways. With her gentle yet firm approach, she challenged me to think outside my limited worldview and encouraged me to stretch myself beyond my comfort zone.
The most significant gift Lorinda gave me was helping me realize that my past did not have to dictate my future. She taught me to embrace self-acceptance, compassion, and self-love, empowering me to shed the shackles of my old story and take control of my life. Lorinda believed in my potential, even when I couldn’t see it myself, and she supported me every step of the way as I embarked on my journey of transformation.
Her unwavering belief in me and her commitment to my growth inspired me to become a coach myself. I wanted to pay forward the same wisdom and empowerment that Lorinda had given me. Thanks to her mentorship and encouragement, I am now an ICF-certified life, leadership, and executive coach, specializing in mental and emotional wellness. Her influence continues to resonate through my coaching practice as I strive to help others break free from their limiting beliefs and find fulfillment in their lives.
Lorinda’s impact goes far beyond the sessions we had together; she became a guiding light on my path to healing and self-discovery. I am forever grateful for her presence in my life, and I dedicate this shoutout to her with deep appreciation and admiration.
In addition to Lorinda, I also want to extend recognition and credit to the motivational thought leaders whose wisdom I found on YouTube during my darkest times. People like Gabriel Bernstein, Eckhart Tolle, Marie Forleo, and Vishen Lakhiani provided me with valuable insights and inspiration that ignited my passion for personal and spiritual development. Their teachings further supported my transformation and helped me cultivate a new perspective on life.
