We had the good fortune of connecting with Arianne Asunsolo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Arianne, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I believe creating a schedule that works for myself and sticking with it has been what has helped me the most. Understanding that sometimes even if we could multi-task, that isn’t always the best or even fastest way to get things done. I created special time with my daughter where all the focus is on her and no tasks, daily to make sure not to get that mom guilt, then I create allowed time for me to breath as well as focus work time no house distractions.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I always feel I am still on the path, my story is not fully written and I would love the world to follow along our adventures. I believe what sets me apart are partly my origins, coming from a struggling single mom raising me best she could in Mexico but always with a bigger vision in life to now traveling the world. I have had wonderful people that have supported me along those years, and have worked hard every step of the way. I have learned to always appreciate the journey, and find people who surround you with love and appreciation. I always would like to say, no matter your brand, no matter what you believe in make sure to give back.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say right now based in Anzio Italy I would do an all with less than 2 hours drive including:
– Wine tasting in Tuscany
– Food tour while enjoying the beauty of Rome
– Anzio beaches for relaxing and discovering the history and beauty
– The Assisi and other magical towns of Umbria
– Seeing the olive oil production in Rieti region Sabina hills.
– Ponza Island only 45min ferry ride away in my opinion beats Capri
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would say my mom. She always believed I would do great things. She raised me in small town in southern Mexico struggling as a single working mom, however always ingrained in me that I should travel and discover the world, not to fall captive to the small town mentality and be stuck. I will always be thankful for that.
