We had the good fortune of connecting with AttiQuewa Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi AttiQuewa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was “I love education and I love finance but I can’t go back to corporate America”
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business ThatFinanceChick LLC is a business that focuses on showing business owners & professionals how to turn their income into generational wealth through planning & asset accumulation. I believe what sets me apart is my ability to be transparent about my own journey and relatable with my audience I’m most excited about leaving a legacy that shows that I was able to help people create their own legacies for their families I got to where I am in business today by A LOT of trial and error, tears, and determination. It was not easy at all. I had to continue to remind myself why I was in business and what I wanted my future to look like. The biggest lesson that I’ve lesson I learned was that I don’t have to be like anyone else. The people that I’m meant to help will be drawn to me and my brand The main thing that I want the world to know about my brand is that I am committed to helping as many people as possible create financial legacies that they’re proud of
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly, we wouldn’t travel to too many places because it’s really boring where I live lol but we would definitely go to the lake and go hiking in the area. We may even drive 2 hours north to Dallas because that’s where all the good malls are. While in Dallas for a day or two we’d find a day party, a nice barbeque spot, and try a restaurant you couldn’t find anywhere else. I think some of the interesting places to check out is around the art district in Dallas. A lot of good food, scenery and nice art
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! My mother, my husband & business coach (@kingashleyann)
