We had the good fortune of connecting with Bee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bee, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I am passionate about psychology and neuroscience, and I always knew I wanted to serve others and help make a difference in the mental health realm.
After going through severe depression and anxiety, I decided to walk the path of self-love and healing.
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology, however, in early 2020 I felt there was something missing with the traditional therapy approach. To me, it’s important to consider someone’s overall wellbeing, and address the needs of the mind, body and spirit.
I decided to get my Yoga Teacher certification, with a focus in Yoga Nidra and Yoga Body Psychology. I also became a certified Subconscious Mind Coach with Heartledleaders. Human beings are so complex, so integrating both traditional and holistic treatments is key.
Today I am a Yogic Life Coach, the founder of BEEMINDBODY, and I help my clients optimize their daily habits and reprogram their mind, to create a healthier and happier version of themselves.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One thing I’ve learned is to let go of any attachments and expectations about how my business should be. Instead, it is about clearly evaluating my true intentions as a business owner. To me, the key is to live in alignment with my core values through every aspect of my life.
I’ve helped my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. During each session, we dive deep into those deep-rooted patterns that have shaped their emotions, beliefs and attitude, to reprogram their mind and create a healthier and happier version of themselves.
I always stress the importance of living true to our core values, to establish a purpose-driven life. We also learn varying mindfulness practices such as meditation, breath-work and Yoga Nidra to help calm the mind, self-soothe and manage the nervous-system’s stress response.
I monitor and evaluate client progress to make sure they continue on the right path. This also allows me to offer extra guidance when needed and to hold them accountable. I always emphasize and foster the importance of consistency, strong personal boundaries, and building better habits.
Self-improvement begins with the right mindset and the right coaching. I am confident in my ability to yield long-term transformations in my clients with a result-driven and science-based approach. I will always have a genuine concern for my clients, and a real passion to help them reach their fullest human potential.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Not only is Arizona beautiful but the weather is absolutely perfect for outdoor activities. I always recommend hiking and checking out all the beautiful sceneries around Arizona.
Taking a day trip to Sedona, Az is where you’ll find countless of hikes and the opportunity to admire the beautiful red rocks. You can also walk around the city where they have many shops and restaurants.
Then only 40 minutes away from Sedona, there is Flagstaff where you can experience a more woodsy scenery, go Snowboarding or even stop by the Grand Canyon.
I would also recommend visiting Page, Az and checking out Horseshoe Bend and Cantaloupe Canyon.
Back to the city, you can experience the night life in Scottsdale, Az.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Starting my own business has taught me that you truly can’t do it alone. Surrounding myself with a purpose-driven community and mentors has contributed tremendously to my growth and self-development, personally and professionally. I am thankful for my mentors and friendships in Arizona and the AZ Entrepreneur community. As a coach, I make sure to foster community and tribe into my own coaching approach. We all need people that cheer you on to be the best you can be.
