We had the good fortune of connecting with Benoit Burt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Benoit, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I was running my own business for a decade in a completely different field that was shut down by the pandemic. Initially I resorted to applying many places to keep myself afloat, but I just couldn’t land anything. Being the entrepreneur type I started brainstorming something new. I leaned into other skills I had that were more of a hobby for a long time. I quickly realized that those skills are in high demand, even during a pandemic. APEX PROJECTS Home and Office was born.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The team at Apex Projects specializes in handyman style work; assembly, mounting, moving, installing, and repairs. I am proud to say we have completed over 200 jobs and maintain a 5 star rating online. The best part is the fulfillment you get after completing a project and seeing how happy your client is.
In entrepreneurship resilience is everything. There are a lot of ups and downs but you need to keep moving forward. Surround yourself with positive people, set progressive goals and work your butt off.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would recommend seeing a stand up comedy show, everyone needs a good laugh every now and then!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to my partner Stephen Randall for the mentorship and encouragement!
