We had the good fortune of connecting with Bill Burrola and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bill, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“”There is no such thing as a lost opportunity; someone else is always there to take it.”

In my industry, college athletic recruiting, it has been a mantra to our teammates that competition for next level opportunities is stupendous! Therefore, do everything to prepare and engage your plan for your desired dreams, because someone, somewhere is already outworking you.

What should our readers know about your business?
After stints as an athlete, teacher and coach, the dream found me: helping others to reach and grasp their collegiate dreams. The personal reward was more than I can covey!

With the evolution of the recruiting landscape (and what college coaches insist on) we have now authored a book: Play On!, which shows student-athletes and families exactly how to energize their own game plans for realizing their next level aspirations.

This journey of building hope and opportunity for these young men and women has not been easy, but anything worth having, I have found, shouldn’t be.

The lessons are many, the flaws, not few, but nothing could be more rewarding than helping those willing students and athletes and parents chase and capture a portion, if not all of their dreams.

Our brand is not a new one: loving, helping and caring for life-altering endeavors. But ithas been an amazing one.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d walk them into some of the most depressed areas of the city, to see how fortunate we are! Along the way, find a diverse group of people and limousine them to the “undepressed” sections of the city. Sitting down, asking them of their hopes and fears . . . Their joys and sorrows. Their dreams..

When we are finished with the evening, usher them back to where we picked them up, with a hug and a tear ask my friend, “wasn’t that beautiful?”

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family is first! Their undying support and love is immeasurable! All my former coaches, teammates and friends steeled me to eventually chase a dream. And all the student-athletes and their families with whom we have had the privilege of partnering! They were and are our passion For what we do!
