We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Baldenegro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The Pit Stop Company exists today to provide a convenient solution to your irritable errands. Most vehicle owners procrastinate getting their vehicles serviced because they don’t have the time, they don’t like wasting their time waiting in a lobby, and they don’t like the feeling of being upsold by big name shops and dealerships. Combining this with my passion for vehicles made this an easy choice for me to pursuit this journey.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our mission is to supply a high-quality service, while displaying the utmost professionalism, and enabling our customers to have a stress and hassle-free experience. The difference between us and our competitors is that we are 100% mobile. We come straight to your front door, apartment or workplace and provide an amazing service. We are most excited to be able to provide a convenient solution to our customers lives. Nothing ever comes easy when you’re running your own business. We are still continuing to grow every day and maneuvering around any obstacles that may come to us. In a world where mostly anything can be delivered to your front door, now your vehicle maintenance can be too. Give us the opportunity to be at your service and you’ll be happy you did!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being an Arizona native I’ve had the pleasure to visit so many great places around our amazing state. The first morning we would enjoy one of my favorite breakfast spots in Chandler at El Sol Mexican Cafe & Bakery. After breakfast we would walk around the many shopping malls and outlets around the valley. Then we would go out for a refresher drink at Rapha Tea for some amazing boba. After we got our drinks we would go to Top Golf or Octane Raceway for some afternoon fun. For dinner we would enjoy one of my favorite spots in the valley Persian Room. During the week we would visit some of the other awesome places around the area, Phoenix Art Museum, Camelback Mountain, Wild Horse Pass to watch the drift and drag, Phoenix Zoo, and eat at our favorite steakhouse Shula’s.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It’s been an accumulation of multiple different variables in my life that have led me where I am today. My wife and daughter are my number one asset. They keep me humble and give me the strength I need to keep pushing forward. My seven years in the Air Force has helped instill unbreakable core values and is the foundation for how I go about living my life. The book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” provided me insight to how my life could be. After reading this book, it was as if my eyes had been opened to the unlimited possibilities for the first time. Last but not least I’d like to give thanks to the #75 hard program. It has completely elevated my standards and made me continue to grow as a person.
