We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Cano Sr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my willingness to adapt to uncomfortable feelings of change. I embrace my interpersonal growth by exploring optional avenues of expression. Frankly speaking, self discipline, intuitiveness, prognostication, and luck, all play a part in our overall success.

What should our readers know about your business?
Located in Tempe, Arizona, Tysonomo Multimedia is doing all we can to set ourselves apart from traditional media companies; and in our efforts to do so, inclusion and social equity improve, and standards are raised.

Moreover, Tysonomo is committed to initiatives that positively contribute to the public, the environment, and for effecting social change.

I place corporate social responsibility at the top of my list.

The Tysonomo business model: Attract hyperlocal clients, connect with local micro-influencers, and grow our brand. And, to distinguish our company from others, like ours, by standing out above the competition using resources we already have.

As a 54-year-old native Phoenician, I’ve got my hyperlocal boots planted firmly on the ground, which gives us an automatic advantage over our competitors who might be more broadly ‘experienced.’

As a bona-fide journalist, I tactfully target individual consumers specific wants for better marketing management. Then, I match the client’s products, services, and messages to those customer wants to generate organic sales. We scale our client’s social media campaigns to meet its audience’s needs, as well as its advertising budget.

What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

We spend our energy making Tysonomo Multimedia into the best it can be – the multimedia company that only time can build. That’s why I stay closely connected to my dream, vision, and excitement that propelled me to launch Tysonomo Multimedia in the first place. Our 100% and all-digital enterprise is a strong representation of my core values, which keeps me motivated even on the toughest days. Not to mention, as an older person, I know who I am and what I’m made of.

Our proudest accomplishment thus far is when President Biden signed the $770 million National Defense Authorization Act, in late Dec. 2021. Tysonomo Multimedia was a driving force behind significant advancements in the passage of the Brandon Act, according to Patrick and Terri Caserta, of Peoria, Arizona.

The important U.S. military mental health legislation is named in honor of the Caserta’s late son, Brandon. With the president’s signature, the Brandon Act became a major victory for them, and that Tysonomo Multimedia’s involvement would likely ‘save future military members lives,’ according to Teri.

Why is Tysonomo Multimedia?

Because digital marketing is more strategic, more effective, and in turn, cheaper than ever before. You’re also able to easily determine the return on your investment, which makes the venture into social media much more viable. I’ll be the first to say that we are all better off for it.

However, tragically speaking, the COVID-19 pandemic revealed some of the major cost benefits of social media vs. traditional media, and the impact the Internet has had on marketing. By November 2020, I was convinced that advertising was changing in a major way and social media would play a significant role in that transition.

The fact of the matter is Tiesonomo Media Group, LLC was born of necessity.

Note * For me, Universal Spirit isn’t just out there somewhere, it’s in everything and everyone; all around us. Therefore, the signs, I receive from the universe, get intertwined with ordinary moments of my ordinary day-to-day life. What do the signs tell me?

“I’m on the right path.”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

MORNING: Play golf

We would begin our day by playing 18-holes at Papago Golf Course, which is located just minutes of downtown Phoenix. This extremely popular public golf course provides spectacular views of Phoenix from its perched setting at the base of the world-famous Papago Buttes.

After the round, it’s off to ‘The Stockyards,’ which is less than two miles from Papago. There, we order a 16 oz. hand-cut aged steak or juicy cut of prime rib. We could eat in the main dining room where some of the tables recognize Arizona’s past, and some of the people who made the history.

EVENING: Dinner & Fiesta!

First, ‘Stand Up Live’ located in downtown Phoenix, which features comedy stars all year round. It has a state-of-the art sound and video system and an upscale full bar with signature drinks.

Then, it’s off to the “Copper Blues Live,” which is next door. It features live music, good food and an amazing outdoor patio on the second floor, with a retractable, soundproof Skyfold wall.

That’s a great day!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I recognize Arizona State University, and its support, mentorship, and encouragement. In all fairness, the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication deserves some of the credit in my story. But, I know that my success in life is thanks to the love and inspiration of my family.

My son, Brian Cano Jr. (BC), is a superhero without a cape. If anyone deserves a shoutout, it’s him.

Since the COVID-19 Pandemic started, many ASU employees have had to work long hours and wear uncomfortable personal protective equipment so that our community could overcome these difficult times.

As Tiesonomo Media Group, LLC, co-founder, BC edits our digital content in the early morning and, then, at night. Our working relationship serves us well as my presence empowers him and his presence liberates me.
