We had the good fortune of connecting with BRIDGES CONNER and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi BRIDGES, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I feel that professional organization is a huge gift to share in our world today. There are a lot of people that are completely overwhelmed with their stuff and do not know where to begin the organization process. The gift of what my staff and I share is the weight of the world lifted off of client’s shoulders, a new sense of relief to get out from under the clutter in their lives and the ability to breath and enjoy their new spaces! We have a non-judgement approach so it just so happens that our client’s even have some fun while they work. Get Organized with Bridges + CO also helps seniors purge, pack and downsize into assisted living. This is also a huge gift for these seniors that are entering another phase of their life. We are someone to hold their hand, navigate their belongings they have had for their entire life and get them settled, organized and situated in their new space.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I come from a strong business/management background. That along with the fact that my father was always by my side and always insisted that I run my businesses like a business and not like a hobby. That advice has served me well over the years. About 4-5 years into Get Organized with Bridges I worked on leveraging my business, getting out of the weeds and hired independent contractors to do the actual organizing work while I was able to be the CEO of my business. I also had the help of my business coach, Vanessa Shaw. It was at that time that I re-branded and went with Get Organized with Bridges + CO. This forced me to automate my business and instill policies and procedures. As of now, I have approximately 15 professional organizers that sub-contract with me and one virtual assistant that is on payroll. What I have learned along the way is to jump in with both feet and never look back. I love what I do every single day!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since I love the out of doors my long weekend would start out with a hike and then an amazing brunch! Since I love to do this as much as I can I have some great restaurants to choose from and it would include some Mimosa’s, of course! We would be able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Arizona sunshine. Since I love to cook and entertain, it would include a nice happy hour and some fun cooking together. A couple of nice bottles of wine to top off the evening. I would probably head up to Cave Creek and enjoy the interesting vibe up there. I am plugged into the area and know some fun places to shop and eat. How can you not have fun up in Cave Creek, AZ? It might include some traditional shopping at The Scottsdale Quarter and across the street at Kierland. Again, it is out of doors, has some great shopping and amazing restaurants to try out. It is always a hit with out of town guests.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like make a shout out to NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals). I have been a member since I first jumped into my business over 10 years ago. I became a NAPO-AZ President within the first 2 years of joining. I believe that a business owner needs to support the industry they are in. I have found a lot of camaraderie and friendships along the way.
