We had the good fortune of connecting with Brielle Farmer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brielle, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think taking risks is an essential part of entrepreneurship. In the beginning of my photography business, I would say yes to every inquiry that came my way. Sometimes I didn’t like the photography or I struggled getting the job done, but this allowed me to try new things and develop new skills.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a natural light photographer and I love taking senior photos and family photos. I am most proud of my art because of the fun I have with my clients while we are on a shoot together. I like to keep my posing prompts and editing all natural, colorful, and fun.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When I have friends visit Tucson from out of town, we go to Gates Pass for the sunset, get drinks on 4th Ave, and eat at some of my favorite vegan restaurants like Charro Vida, Guilin, and Tanias 33.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my wonderful husband who is a full time grad student and still has time to location scout with me before the sun rises.
