We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Kidd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my drive. I refuse to give up, I never say no to a challenge, and I face every obstacle head on. Without my drive and dedication to my brand, I never would’ve made it through the first year in business.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own an event coordination company called Boutique 5150. I also founded a Nonprofit Organization providing mental health services and community outreach programs called The 5150 Social Club. We recently hosted a fundraiser for Autism back in April that I am very proud of putting together. I am completely self taught and self reliant when it comes to running my business and my nonprofit, and that can be VERY tough and time consuming. Luckily, I have made some solid connections in and out of my industry to help me achieve all my dreams. My main goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for the community and give them the tools they need to handle all parts of life- whether they need help planning their first party or making their first therapy appointment- Boutique 5150 is here to help.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to Gary Vee for being the most passionate, energetic, business savvy person I know. All his videos are so relatable and inspiring. They have really got me through the tough times and made me believe in myself. Also, I wouldn’t be as well known as I am today without my partner/best friend/promotions manager Darlene. She is my rock and will go to the ends of the earth shouting my business/brand name.
