We had the good fortune of connecting with Cait Sunny-Joy Stine and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cait Sunny-Joy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Tenacity. Never Quitting, keep trying until I reach my Goals, always believing in myself, being persistent even when it’s hard. Surrounding myself with likeminded people,
I also owe a lot of my success to my family. My husband built my beautiful truck for me and my daughter is my biggest fan and lets me know it all the time.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Please tell us more about your business:
Hi! My name is Cait Sunny-Joy Stine. I am a licensed Aesthetician and the owner and operator of ‘The Wild FaceBox’ a mobile skincare clinic. After working in Medspas and gaining experience in the industry, I wanted a change and to offer convenience and a high level of care to all my clients near and far! It had been my dream for years to go mobile with my passion but I didn’t just want to set up in someone’s house I wanted the medspa to come to them! So my husband and I bought a 92 International truck and Turned it into a luxury aesthetics suite on wheels! I offer lots of services including facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, Microneedling, Hydradermabrasion and more!
We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others: Not only am I mobile, but I also have a ‘Home Base’ looking out on the Superstition Mountains that clients can come to at a discounted rate. I, myself, am a very warm and welcoming person. I enjoy making others feel at ease, loved, seen and taken care of.
what you are most proud of or excited about: I am very excited that The Wild Facebox turned out exactly how I Imagined it! It was a long hard road to get here – and I’m happy that I have been getting nothing but great feedback so far.
How did you get to where you are today business-wise Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
Before I became an Aesthetician, I actually worked at the school I graduated from- The Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics. Working there really helped me grow and learn a lot about the industry. Not only did I grow personally with great coaching and feedback from my leadership and team- but it also allowed me to fall in love with Aesthetics in every way. I was a single mom at the time, and I decided to quit my full time job, ‘figure it out’ and get myself through school. From there I worked at Clinics, Medspas, then worked for myself renting suites and gaining experience and knowledge that way. It wasn’t until I met my Husband, Trevor, that this dream became a reality. Having his support has been a game changer; not to mention his handi-ness! He built everything with his bare hands AND had to deal with my ah-hem very specific instruction hahaha.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way:
Man, I I’ve definitely learned a lot! I think the #1 thing I’ve learned is to ‘drown out the noise’ if that makes sense. To stop listening to any sort of self doubt or outside negativity that can get between me and my goals.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?:
I want the world to know that being treated by me is not just about keeping your skin balanced and healthy, its about loving and celebrating who you are in the skin you’re in. I’ve embraced the gift within me to spread joy, positivity and self care; and I would LOVE to help other women express their power and inner beauty as well.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First we would get coffee Dutch bros. Then we’d drive to downtown Gilbert.Chandler catch up and walk around there’s always something fun to do or good to eat. We would definately be doing some fun skincare stuff in the wild facebox. Maybe do some horseback riding through the mountains. The Lake FOR SURE! Medieval times is fun, find a concert- go country dancing maybe a little karaoke. Have my husband BBQ for us ( his business is coming out soon too!)
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh my gosh! Too many People, Organizations, and books to shoutout! First and Foremost My Husband and Daughter- they are my rocks and so supportive of everything I do and want to become. My family and Friends Always being behind me and ready for me to bounce ideas off them. Klemmer- A Series of Self Development/Leadership Courses has really transformed my life and way of thinking. & TOO MANY BOOKS AND PODCASTS TO LIST! Ooftah! I’ll Bring a list with me!
