We had the good fortune of connecting with Cassandra Douglas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cassandra, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I think the most important thing I’ve done as a parent is co-parenting with my children’s father in a healthy way. Also having a healthy relationship with has taught my children that they are safe even though their parents are not together.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m currently a REALTOR, but I retired from the Air Force after 21 years. I’m most proud of my retirement from the military, however, I’m extremely proud of myself for remaining on the course of being a REALTOR. Being in real estate has taught me so much over the past 2 years, It’s the complete opposite of the structure I came from in the military. Real estate is a very emotional and challenging career and I honestly did not know how challenging it would be. I can’t say that I have overcame the challenges of this career because I feel like it’s an on going learning adventure and it takes effort, grit and hard work to run a real estate business. Every transaction in real estate is different, you encounter different issues, clients, so you’re constantly adapting to changing circumstances. I would like the world to know that as a REALTOR, I put my clients first and I will always work in their best interest as they travel along the journey of gaining a piece of the American dream of owning a home.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would definitely take them to Sedona for a few days, it’s absolutely gorgeous there. I would also take them to the Grand Canyon, the nature and beautiful wonders of the Canyon is amazing, As far as where to eat, I am honestly not a foodie, but I would probably take her to Hash Kitchen because who doesn’t love breakfast and Revolu Modern Taquiera. I’m still learning about all of the good eating spots in AZ,
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
