We had the good fortune of connecting with Cerila Gailliard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cerila, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is taking the time to build relationships. When I started my business this was the advice I was given by a person who had been in business for over 10 years. Building businesses relationships takes time. It is not something you build immediately but over a period of time.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am really get excited about the volunteer work I do for small businesses. I mentor starts up through the ASU Entrepreneurship and Innovation program. I help guide startups businesses through their entrepreneurial journey. I also teach courses on every aspect of project management. My goal through teaching these courses is to help businesses START, GROW and ADVANCE their business to improve project outcomes through project management.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friend to Mastro’s Steakhouse located in Scottsdale AZ. This is my favorite restaurant. Their food is just AMAZING! During the day, I would take my friend to Downtown Tempe. With all the growth happening downtown, I would spend a day just eating, talking and walking around Tempe Town lakes.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shout out to Joe Gustave. He was my boss for about 8 years. He helped me take my project management skills to another level. He assigned me challenging and interesting projects throughout my employment. It is because of him I acquired my project management professional certification. The rest is history!
