We had the good fortune of connecting with Claudio Azevedo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Claudio, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Actually I was just thinking about happing fun and be able to show Brazilians people how different is living in US (specially in Arizona) comparing to Brazil. I started my YouTube Channel in 2019 when I bought my first motorcycle in Arizona. Back in that time I just wanted to show the new model of that bike, some pros and cons, and if it could be a good option for beginners. One day I was riding back home, recording some footages with my GoPro attached to my helmet, when I saw a big piece of wood in the middle of the road. That could cause a serious motorcycle accident. The first thing I did (when I had the opportunity) was stopping my normal path and remove that wood from there. I was not expecting to receive anything for doing that, but I got a few nice complements when I uploaded the footage. The same happened when I helped a couple to push their broken car. Now, whenever I have a change to help, I’ll be doing that and using my YouTube Channel to share those moments with anyone who would be interested to see.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Research Scientist Assistant at the University of Arizona. I started my career in Brazil and I saw an opportunity to amplify my work by travelling to a different country, finding here in Arizona a best place to be. To be a Scientist requires a lot of studies and be able to work 24/7 sometimes. But the best thing in the world is work with what makes you happy. And yes, science makes me very happy. One thing that I learned during my life studying and preparing myself for this career is that there is no such a thing as “it’s too late to learn something”. Some people believe that the perfect time to learn is when you are a kid or adolescent. But actually, the perfect time to start something is always now.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, for sure I would take them to Mount Lemmon if I stay in Arizona, but if I had more time, I would take them to the beach. I like the mountains, it’s cool. But I’m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We love beach!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to all my subscribers on my YouTube Channel and followers on my Instagram. And also would like to thanks all Arizonians who welcomed me with open arms when I started my life in this beautiful place.
Thanks for the support
