Meet Dani Bautista | Filmmaker, Photographer, & Skateboarding coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Bautista and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dani, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think the most important factor for my success is that I love what I do and I have fun with it.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a freelance filmmaker and photographer. It wasn’t easy of course. I’ve been shooting professionally for around 18 years. I am still learning but the years of experience, and networking has got me to this point where my art has become lucrative. I am also a coach of the Olympic National Skateboarding Team in the Philippines.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to my home town Cebu, Philippines. Get them into an intro freediving course and go island hopping around the island. Have food and drinks by the beaches. The most exciting things to see is the nature around Cebu, and exploring underwater.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout out my wife Sam.
