Meet Daniel Posney | Ultimate Potential Coach & Mystic

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Posney and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniel, what inspires you?
Honestly, I’m inspired by love. I am continually losing myself in it. I have spent many years protecting myself from the world, further trauma, and love. This was my mask, “Don’t @#$&” with me”. Guilt, obligation, insecurity, lack of self-worth, feeling unacknowledged, and under-appreciated. I am inspired by knowing how my egoic mind/identity works, using that to take “command of my own ship”, and embracing life. I am inspired by the continual opening of my heart, as I keep allowing more love. I am inspired by the humanity that I see, not the humanity that I hear about when I catch a news clip. Because of the work that I do (healing from emotional trauma, reaching our ultimate potential, cancer support, adoring relationship) and the world that I am in, I am inspired by amazing people that I tend to attract. My wife, Valerie, inspires me. She’s an angel in my life. I’m inspired to never judge her for who and how she is and watch her reach her highest potential. Clients healing from cancer inspire me as they bravely move into equanimity and peace, while they receive the message that cancer offers them. I am inspired by couples who open themselves up to me and trust me, as I passionately teach them about themselves and the dynamics of their relationship. I am inspired by authenticity (which we sometimes call “spirituality”) and the courage to truthfully answer a question like “What are you inspired by?”.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am an exceptional healing alchemist who is dedicated to supporting individuals through retreats, events, wellness centers, and personal sessions to overcome obstacles and unlock their fullest potential. Drawing from a diverse range of modalities including Life Coaching, Shamanic Alchemy Breathwork, Sound Healing, Transpersonal Psychology, and Energy Healing, I empower my clients to gain a profound understanding of their life experiences. We create deep healing, liberation from stagnation, foster inner transformation, and the true embracing of life.
One of my defining qualities is my lifelong connection to the realm of universal truth as a sensitive empath. Through personal encounters, including transformative experiences and guidance from shamans, mystics, and indigenous teachers, Building upon these profound experiences, I have been providing life transformation, energetic and shamanic healing, intuitive guidance, and integration support for life-changing experiences for over 15 years. My work revolves around facilitating shifts in perspective, expanding consciousness, and guiding spiritual awakening. Key tools employed include breathwork and vibrational/sound techniques, which serve as gateways to transformation.
What sets me apart is my exceptional (sometimes radical) coaching approach, which encompasses Awareness, Enlightenment, and Embodiment, along with my expertise in Shamanic Alchemy Breathwork. During sessions, I consistently delve into deeper truths and facilitate profound realizations for my clients. My unconventional, yet highly effective, methods have been refined through years of coaching and shamanic healing, allowing me to tap into a unique perspective and intuitive insights that can significantly shift the trajectory of my clients’ lives.
My amazing clients come from all walks of life and levels of society…front-line workers, service people, doctors, healers, cancer patients, therapists, psychiatrists, sensitives, psychics, LGBTQ, CEOs, models, fighters, millionaires and billionaires. There are some things in common with these people that have chosen to work with me.
When asked “Are you a shaman?” I say “We who do this work rarely call ourselves a ‘shaman’. I don’t call myself a shaman, not because I don’t feel I am. It’s really because of labels. I definitely practice shamanism (when necessary) and I do carry ‘strong medicine’ (Medicine Man)…but, not always. Other times, my healing techniques are more modern and pragmatic or practical. I work with what the other person needs and what will be relatable and fit them. I’m not practicing shamanism to impress. Sometimes it fits the situation and the needs.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have always loved going to the immersive art shows, Musical Instrument Museum, and amazing restaurants. From there, Sedona is less than 2 hours away. I’d rather spend a week there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Wow. Really, it’s everyone and everything that I could give recognition to. Even the things that didn’t seem supportive. That guy that wanted to beat me up in the parking lot. He taught me unconditional love. The woman who betrayed me. She showed my insecurities. Every love relationship that I have ever had deserves recognition. Each one did their best to love me. But, I understand the question. I lived in a Self-Realization community called Sunburst, for 3 years, in a tiny home…4000 acres. That was a grounding time in my life and with that much meditation, open space, and real communication, I started to find myself. I watched a 70’s movie called Brother Sun, Sister Moon. It was a story about Saint Francis. For some reason, I had a cathartic release for 45 minutes and realized the mask that I had been wearing. After that, I gave away all of my possessions and ventured onto a 2000-mile bicycle journey down the Pacific Coast. I discovered myself more and what I was capable of. Rafael Bejarano. What a soul and open heart. He was my first didgeridoo teacher and mentor. Books: The Power Of Now. You Are Psychic (Pete Sanders lives here in Sedona and we are friends), The Untethered Soul. The Holographic Universe, Be Here Now, Autobiography of a Yogi. The Prophet. Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Metaphysical Anatomy. Heal Your Body. When The Body Says No. Changing The Habit Of Being Yourself…and more. In Sedona, Anahata Ananda, Spirit Quest, Gateway Cottage, Angel Valley (Michael and Amayra Hamilton), The Lodge at Sedona…they all gave me a chance when I was starting out. The movie Cloud Atlas, which I have watched over 36 times, keeps blowing my mind with spiritual wisdom and epiphany. Try that and see what it does for you! Ok, maybe only 10 times. When I was writing my first book (One White Stone), it was very cathartic and enlightening to recall and solidify the stories and wisdom gained over time. Oh, Martin Ball, PhD. Totally changed my life with an experience back in 2010 or so. I was lucky enough to have it, before he basically retired from it. Without going into details, I realized that “I” don’t require a body to exist. That’ll do it. That’ll change your perspective. Of course, all the credit and recognition for me becoming a “human being” goes to Love, which is all there is. Love just shows up in all of the ways just described.
