Meet Danny Silvertone | Singer / Songwriter and Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danny Silvertone and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danny, what do you attribute your success to?
Consistency is the most important factor behind my success, and really my entire life in so many different ways. I think people tend to overrate intensity and completely underrate consistency. Everyone is always looking for that one “big break” or waiting for a huge burst of motivation to get started. But for me? It’s really just about showing up, day in and day out, even when things feel boring or I’m just not feeling it. When I say consistency is the main factor, I mean it’s the anchor. It keeps me steady so the highs don’t get to my head and the lows don’t knock me off track. It’s not always the most exciting answer, but it’s definitely the secret sauce.
Think about it like compound interest. Whether it’s learning a new skill, hitting the gym, or even just being present for your family, doing a little bit every single day beats doing a lot once in a blue moon. That reliability builds trust with the people around you, but more importantly, it builds trust with yourself. You prove to yourself that you’re someone who follows through.
That’s where having a solid daily routine comes into play. I know some people think routines kill spontaneity, but I’ve found the exact opposite is true. When I have my day structured—knowing exactly when I’m waking up, working out, or sitting down to work—I stop wasting mental energy on small decisions. I’m not waking up wondering, “What should I do first?” I just do it.
This autopilot mode is huge for my productivity because it eliminates procrastination, but it’s actually the best thing for my creativity, too. It clears out the mental clutter so my brain has space to play. You can’t always control when a great idea hits you, but a routine ensures you’re sitting in the chair, ready to catch it when it does.
So, when I say consistency is the main factor, I mean it’s the anchor. It keeps me steady so the highs don’t get to my head and the lows don’t knock me off track. It’s not always the most exciting answer, but it’s definitely the secret sauce.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
First and foremost, I am a self starter. I always have been, even since I was very young. I always knew what I wanted to do with my life and would try and try over and over no matter how much I failed or embarrassed myself. I had a lot of music knowledge but not a lot of practice actually writing structured music, or even producing it (I started when I was like 14). Over the years, so much has happend. My father passed away around the time I took an interest in music, I went through multiple heartbreaks (romantic interests, friends, etc. ) – it really hasn’t been as easy as I would have liked it, but music and art we’re always my way out. I want people to know that my art is created with passion, and I always put a lot of thought into what I do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I used to live in Phoenix, but now I’m a resident of Nashville! So here are some spots I would take them: The Parthenon in centennial park, the farmer’s market downtown, then over ‘The Vinyl Lounge’ – that’s one of my favorite spots out there!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to shoutout Aaron Mitchell Quintero, founder of the Desert Grey Festival in Mesa Arizona.
