We had the good fortune of connecting with Domenico Cicirello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Domenico, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most Important factor for me is the ability to do my passion for work. When I come to work it doesn’t feel like work I get excited to be here, my dad has always told me do what you love the money will come. That has inspired me deeply and made me make the leap to a new city. It wasn’t easy and it definitely had its sacrifices but I regret nothing to get to where I’m at now.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
This journey is not easy but it is memorable. One thing I’m grateful I learned at a young age is that when you do your passion as a job it doesn’t feel like work. It took a lot of patience and know that one day I’m gonna be where I want to be. I remember cutting hair in my garage and nobody wanted haircuts by me and now those same people drive to see me. I trusted the process and had faith in myself. I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me I know that I’m nowhere near finished from growing and that’s be best feeling knowing that there’s consistent things that you can learn to better your craft.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in downtown Phoenix, it’s a beautiful city that I moved to about 2 years ago, being in the city there are so many things to go venture around and do. One of my favorite places in downtown to eat at is Monroe’s hot chicken, its locally owned and some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. We also love to go to ziggys, which is a pizza joint in downtown that has a hidden club in the back of the freezer door. We love going to Tempe town lake and go kayaking or just chill on the water. And going up north is the best thing to do it’s a whole different scenery!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to say thank you to both of my parents for fully supporting my passions and never giving up on me. My girlfriend that I’ve been with since high school for always being by my side I couldn’t have done this without her unconditional support. My mentor Erik Martinez for always guiding me and helping me overcome my obstacles. My two loyal friend zeph and Karl for helping through my journey and being supportive of it. And to whoever has followed the process and seen what it’s become, I will be forever grateful for you guys.
