Hi Dr. Ryan A., can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The purpose of business is to create value for others through a product or service. Understanding this is key to any thought process when launching a new business. My own thought process involved thinking about one question, What does the world need? I had no intent on being another business, focused exclusively on making money, but rather, to have a mission, vision, and values that align with promoting a greater good. My business purpose is to give back as much as possible to our communities. In doing so, I want to encourage other business startups to follow. We are stronger when we work together, and our future depends upon it.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
BlueFire Group is built on the premise that businesses must provide a positive social impact in everything they do. The philosophy is rooted in a desire to make communities better through supporting local economic development. A portion of all revenues is invested in local communities. My passion for giving back to local communities drives every business decision. We have a responsibility as business owners to help elevate underrepresented communities. The brand I am building is one where people work together, come together, and we help them transform together.  The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my partner, Ivan for standing by me for the last 13+ years. He has seen me at my weakest points in life yet still kept fighting for both of us. I also want to thank my chosen family for all of the support and love over the last several years.
