We had the good fortune of connecting with Elissa Dunn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elissa, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Being myself
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I run “The Badass Bartender” a social media dedicated to the education of craft cocktails, spirits, and bartending. I also teach and host different events involving mixology. What sets me apart from others is my focus on women empowerment. I’ve been lucky enough to have recently hit several big mile stones, but I am most excited for the future where I really plan to start turning the lens on the amazing women within the hospitality industry. Inevitably I got here by being unapologetically me and focus on what really made me happy. All I want the world to know is……… I will not stop.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
ALL THE WOMEN!!!!! So many women have been my cheerleaders, mentors, friends, coaches, shoulders to cry on, etc. My mom for sure in shaping me to be the women I have been able to become. And all the women along my journey that have shaped me in a different way for the better. Special thanks to Kristen, Ashley, and Cat I really couldn’t have gotten through the last two years without you guys.
