We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Winfield and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eric, how does your business help the community?
Almost 19 years ago, I was a lost individual that pretty much had given up on life. In 2003 my life changed when I moved across the country. I created the “LifeStruction” brand to inspire and motivate individuals that feel stuck and believe it’s impossible for them to change their lives. We provide coaching, mastermind classes, as well as a podcast that provide tools to help individuals escape from their comfort zones and experience change.
What should our readers know about your business?
The LifeStruction brand was created for to help individuals tear down the walls of guilt and past hurt and build a better you. I have a unique way that I connect with my clients. Laughter is mandatory in my life, however when individuals are experiencing hurt they forget how to smile. I am that fun coach, my first goal is to restore smiles, which cracks the door for me to gain access to observe whats hidden within.
I am most proud of when I witness clients celebrate small wins. These small wins gradually restore confidence and eventually
leads to great comeback success stories.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best friend is in town for a week, ok soon as I pick him up from the airport we are going to LoLos Chicken and Waffles, Scottsdale location. Next day lunch at The Churchhill downtown Phoenix. Later that evening we would go to Top Golf, Scottsdale location. They next morning we would hit up “The Breakfast Club” downtown Phoenix, before heading to Sedona for the day. I love doing crazy things so the next day we will head over to iFLY for some indoor skydiving, and later go hang out at the Culinary Dropout. I love that spot. On the last evening I definitely would take him to Houston’s for dinner.
I don’t get out much but when I do these are some of my favorite places. I love being in fun environments. Great people, food and plenty of laughter.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe a huge part of my growth to Mr. Jacob Ivy. Our early morning talks and his continuous words of encouragement when I was lacking confidence. He gave me amazing advice, lit fire to my soul and challenged me to fill my empty foundation with faith and build.
